I know a select minority of members have been troubled by the posting of facts and independent reports that support my opinions, positions and posts. I cannot allow that select minority to dissuade me from exercising my Constitutional rights.

A Time Online Edition article by Lev Grossman published on 1/12/06 titled "Pros and Cons" reports on the James Frey / Oprah Winfrey scandal with interesting facts and commentary.

Another interesting twist to this scandal is brought to light in another online article "Random House Offers Refund for Frey's 'Pieces'" which is backed up by a "Reuters story on CNN."

oprah is spelled oprah.

A spelling error by a member of The Forum Garden. Surely that's a first. I just tried to go into the first post to correct the minutiae, but couln't "edit." I would venture to guess that the vast majority of members and guest will not loose much sleep over it. Except maybe the ones that are avid microscope or magnifying glass users.

We're still waiting on a retraction or apology from Oprah for her role in this fraud that came to pass once she endorsed the book, but all we hear is crickets.

This is the thread where you are getting lambasted.......

She states something from Snooze.......I asked what that had to do with anything.....she wanted me to know that Snooze PM's and Emails her.......she then states that I'm lucky she don't print her e-mails and PMs......(well thats good of her).......on the other hand it doesn't make Snooze to good.
