MORNING!!!God its cold today ain't it.....ok Kay we know you aint lol..Saw Joans name here last night reading but she hasn't posted......hope everything is ok.Ere me an the Guv were chatting last night on MSN an all of a sudden I got an email from her. I thought....whys the silly cow mailing me if Im talking to her.......as you do:wah:...so I asked her....she said....Carol I ain't!!!!I told her she had and replied to it thinking....gawd shes losing her bleedin marbles.Anyway we discovered that something she had said to me on MSN I had not got an instead it went by hotmail email ffs.............IS THAT WEIRD OR WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Well it looks like we have ghosties on MSN so be veryyyyyyyyy careful and watch what you say about anyone who is no longer with us.....tell ye it freaked our Guv out....ere she said .....are you winding me up......I replied that I had sent her back the bloody fing so how could I be....silly old moo:rolleyes:.By the way she wernt winding me up either as she copy an pasted what she had written on MSN.Mind you we had a nice chat last night and I have to say that she does talk alot of sense sometimes (but dont you dare tell her I said that ffs:wah:)Anyway if anybody has any idea how this happened please let me know. Back to sanity !!! Hello everybody, hope you've had a good day today, despite it being Monday !! I was supposed to be clearing stuff off the shelves in our downstairs loo, however, circumstances changed that plan - I blame Carol :wah:

Specially for Kathy Ellen, another photo of somewhere along the Cornish coast !

I wouldn't mind that house !! What a lovely view they've got :-6

A man and his wife were spending the day at the zoo.

She was wearing a loose fitting, pink dress, sleeveless with straps.

He was wearing his usual jeans and T-shirt.

As they walked through the ape exhibit,

they passed in front of a large, silverback gorilla.

Noticing the wife, the gorilla went crazy.

He jumped on the bars, and holding on with one hand and 2 feet he grunted and pounded his chest with his free hand.

He was obviously excited at the pretty lady in the pink Dress.

The husband, noticing the excitement, thought this was funny.

He suggested that his wife tease the poor fellow some more by puckering her lips and wiggling her bottom. She played along and the gorilla got even more excited, making noises that would wake the dead. Then the husband suggested that she let one of her straps fall to show a little more skin.

She did... And the gorilla was about to tear the bars down.

"Now... Show your thighs and sort of fan your dress at him," he said. This drove the gorilla absolutely crazy, and he started doing flips.

Then the husband grabbed his wife, ripped open the door to the cage, flung her in with the gorilla and slammed the cage door shut.

"Now. Tell HIM ........ you have a headache." :wah:

I have put this on my journal but thought I would here also for those that dont read it xxxxx

And now, probably for the first time in my life, the person I have

always wanted to be. Oh, not my body! I sometime despair over my

body, the wrinkles, the baggy eyes, and the sagging butt. And

often I

am taken aback by that old person that lives in my mirror (who

looks

like my mother!), but I don't

agonize over those things for long.

I would never trade my amazing friends, my wonderful life, my

loving

family for less gray hair or a flatter belly. As I've aged, I've

become more kind to myself, and less critical of myself. I've

become my

own friend.

I don't chide myself for eating that extra biscuit, or for not

making my bed, or for buying that silly cement gecko that I

didn't

need, but looks so good stuck on my patio lol . I am entitled to

a treat,

to be messy, to be extravagant.

I have seen too many dear friends leave this world too soon;

before they understood the great freedom that comes with aging.

Whose business is it if I choose to read or play on the computer

until 4 AM or talk to me mates and sleep until noon?

I will dance with myself to those wonderful tunes of the 60&70's,

and if I, at the same time, wish to weep over a lost love ...

I will.

I will walk the beach in a swim suit that is stretched over a

bulging body, and will dive into the waves with abandon if I

choose to,

despite the pitying glances from the jet set .

They, too, will get old.

I know I am sometimes forgetful. But there again, some of life is

just as well forgotten. And I eventually remember the important

things.

Sure, over the years my heart has been broken. How can your

heart not break when you lose a loved

one, or when a child suffers, or even when somebody's beloved pet

gets hit by a car? But broken hearts are what give us strength and

understanding and compassion. A heart never broken is pristine and

sterile and will never know the joy of being imperfect.

I am so blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair turning

gray and to make it so nobody knows lol, and to have my youthful laughs be forever etched into deep

grooves on my face. So many have never laughed, and so many

have died

before their hair could turn silver.

As you get older, it is easier to be positive. You care less

about what other people think. I don't question myself anymore.

I've even earned the right to be wrong.

So, to answer your question, I like being old. It has set me

free. I like the person I have become. I am not going to live

forever,

but while I am still here, I will not waste time lamenting

what could

have been, or worrying about what will be. And I shall eat

dessert every

single day. (If I feel like it) so there!!!!!!;)
