KT, you seriously don't drive? Ever at all or just currently?
Ever.
I grew up living in Central London. I could walk into the City in 30 minutes (or stagger in an hour:D ) . Driving in London has never been easy and the transport is plentiful although greatly overcrowded. In my late twenties I developed problems with my eye sight which would not allow me to drive, so I never have.
What Car would you most like to drive?

Blanket spread on the floor in front of the fireplace, many fluffy pillows, a platter of various cheeses and crackers, various fruits to dip in whipped cream, a very good bottle of wine, soft music playing and in the company of someone that is a romantic, spontaneous person, who can laugh and whisper sweet nothings.....ummmm, that's enough!

Passionate...object of strong desire, strong emotion such as love....
my most passionate act was taking in, raising and releasing a cub black bear.

Sounds like a wonderful man ..... I would never try to compare myself to him:-6
I asked what I thought was an impossible question, so it serves me right ........
I am not sure that there is a correct answer to this ...... but understanding, supportive and caring are mandatory ....... on the more physical side I guess it would be more difficult to give an answer. I believe that two people either hit it off or not despite their differences .... I suppose that physical attraction is the first step, but then compatability becomes more important. I was one asked this about my wife and I and I said that what had started as pure lust had become love and with love had it had become a "one-ness" that was totally indescribable. Boy did I get that wrong.

Is that a flute in your new av, King Terry?
Just got home from another awesome day at the folk festival. Chose zydeco dancing today.. grin. And managed that rather better than the Highland Fling. Smile. Other highlights were visiting a real aussie stockman's camp (man his hands were dirty from years of ingrained fires and heaven knows what else), watching a flamenco troup whoop it up, Scottish fiddlers and the Sicilian puppet theatre (performing their traditional tales of Orlando and the Saracens).
It's Easter Eve here in Australia already, and I'm off shortly to the blessing of the fire and water and first Easter Mass. We get easter eggs afterwards too - but not gold ones like LC found.
Um.. I suppose I hafta ask a personal question?

Nah, just my extra long Frankfurter;)
I do have a Spanish Guitar hanging on my wall that I bought in Malaga, Spain in 1971. I really wanted to play guitar, but I could never hold the chords down successfully. So, sadly, NO!:(

now for a rendition of ........
Mull of kintyre
Oh mist rolling in from the sea,
My desire is always to be here
Oh mull of kintyre
Far have I traveled and much have I seen
Dark distant mountains with valleys of green.
Past painted deserts the sunset’s on fire
As he carries me home to the mull of kintyre.
Mull of kintyre
Oh mist rolling in from the sea,
My desire is always to be here
Oh mull of kintyre
Sweep through the heather like deer in the glen
Carry me back to the days I knew then.
Nights when we sang like a heavenly choir
Of the life and the time of the mull of kintyre.
Mull of kintyre
Oh mist rolling in from the sea,
My desire is always to be here
Oh mull of kintyre
Smiles in the sunshine
And tears in the rain
Still take me back to where my memories remain
Flickering embers growing higher and higher
As they carry me back to the mull of kintyre
Mull of kintyre
Oh mist rolling in from the sea,
My desire is always to be here
Oh mull of kintyre
Mull of kintyre
Oh mist rolling in from the sea,
My desire is always to be here
Oh mull of kintyre

I did live with an oboe player for a number of years.. An ill wind that nobody plays any good, so the saying goes - similar reeds to bagpipes and penetrating. But only one note at a time, of course. You get double whammy and more with the pipes. Can one dance a Highland Fling to Mull of Kintyre? I might just mosey along into the shower and give it a try.

I'm ashamed to say I've only seen "Cats." But what a riot. One of the actors came right up to me, when they come out into the audience, and sat staring at me just like a cat does. So I scratched him behind the ears, then he started purring and tried to climb in my lap!!! It was a great night I will never forget.

Hey guys, these are fabulous stories............... but you can't leave them there!
BR, I haven't seen Cats. Which cat was he? What else did he do? What did the other cats do? More descriptions please!
LC, what happened to the horses and the people drugging them? Did you get caught? Were they prosecuted? Did the Nancy Drew books and/or that incident have any bearing on why you are a cop today? I need details guys! :-6

SO ..... If you dont drink Tea nor Coffee what the Dickens do you drink?

Varies from winter to summer. Both seasons I wear a Vest up top, but in summer I wear shorts and in Winter Jogging bottoms. I hate being too hot, so I wear as little as is respectable:D

I heard the clean up effort in Biloxi is going pretty well, Observer. Met up with a bloke from there when I was skiing. He was taking a stress break. Said he left his own house when the water inside got to the 6 foot mark. His 86 yo mum lost an antebellum house in the front street there, and pretty much her whole past with it. He didn't think she'd survive. Biloxi is a great place.
