Where do you come up with this stuff, K??
Never heard of cinnamon in your chili?

Geez Gup! You just put it right out there huh? :wah:
I am a total sucker for necks. No pun intended. I love kissing them, I love pressing my face against them, and most of all I love that it always seems to make the guy melt like butter in the sun. Regardless of how strong he is or how tough he thinks he may be, if I go for his neck, he's mine and we both know it. Course I'm the same way about my own neck so maybe it's just one of those things. Anything else that gets nuzzled I ain't saying. :sneaky:

No. I've never been one to do that. I just don't really care...front of the pants sure but it's not the first thing I look for. I notice broad shoulders and strong arms, pretty eyes and a nice smile and a deep voice. Any of those will mess me up. Especially nice arms and a killer voice.

Um yes. Sometimes much to my detriment. But heck, men my age are so boring! Plus they all have kids and ex wives and alimony and way too much heavy baggage. I don't have any of that stuff and I don't want any either. I'm just not ever really attracted to men my age. At all really. I catch grief about it from people a lot but they don't have to be happy in my life and I do.*shrug*

You know Gup...I have never really had a type. It's not like I go for strictly cowboys or strictly bad boys or any definite thing. They've all been different. But they all have to have something about them that makes me think "Hot damn!"
I've liked artistic guys in the past, like painters and such but they've almost always been friends and not boyfriends for some reason. Yet we've always been able to bond over art or cooking or whatever they did that we had in common. One was a chef and he loved period architecture and art like I did and he was the very first guy I could talk to about stuff that didn't involve cars and mechanical crap. That was really nice. I'd call him up for cooking advice and he'd call me for animal advice. I was nuts over him. (And he was even a year older than me just so you know I'm not always robbing the cradle) He was so intelligent. He was danged handsome too but the thing that got to me was that he had a mind I could crawl into and nest in. I appreciate a man with a brain and a heart.
What the hell am I saying. This isn't a damned diary. I'm embarrassing myself. What was the question? Poems! Yeah poems. I'm sad to say no one has ever written me a poem. Maybe someday. Or perhaps I'm just not poem worthy?

what would be your idea of a perfect date with someone you really like?
Ask Red Glitter
Posted: Fri Apr 20, 2007 11:52 pm
by RedGlitter
As long as we were together it wouldn't matter much to me what we did. But for the sake of the question... I'd rather it be something with just us as opposed to being surrounded by a bunch of people. Dinner would probably be involved. I don't know, there are a ton of things that would be fun to do but when it comes right down to it, it's not about the date itself but about how we fit together. I think so anyway. I'm a total girl when it comes to this which means I'm going to want to lie under the stars snuggled next to him and talk with him. About Stuff You Just Don't Tell Anyone Else. Men probably hate this but it's true. I would just want us both to be comfy in each other's presence. I don't like feeling like I have to impress someone, like I'm not good enough just as I am. And I wouldn't want the other person to feel that way either. Those kinds of dates suck. Knowing me, I'd probably do stupid stuff to make him ease up because if I can make someone laugh then I know they're comfortable being around me which makes me feel better. You didn't say if this is a first date or just a date? In which case I'll leave out some specific possibilities.... :-3

Hi Tazz. Not anymore but I used to see them about 30 years ago when I first moved to Arizona. That lasted a couple years and then stupid BLM rounded them up and shipped them out.
Did you ever see bald eagles?
I think I might have seen one drifting on a thermal up in the mountains one day but I'm not sure. Maybe that was just a hawk. I've probably seen them at zoos or wild bird exhibits at some point though.
What kind of frog do you like?
I think all frogs are good.
Do you golf?
Heck no. Golf bores me to tears.
What would you do for a klondike bar?:wah:
Um...go to the store and buy one? :wah:

Sure. That would be nice.

Yes.

I'm a hairdresser.
Do you have a cat? Does it purr?
I have three. They all purr.
What kind of muffin do you like?
Lemon poppyseed or pumpkin muffins.
What kind of cake do you like?
Yellow or white cake with real scratch sugar frosting. Red Velvet cake.
Do you eat swordfish?
No. Never had it.
Do you eat steamers?
Nope. Tried an oyster once. Disgusting. And it looked strangely like a woman. It was very bothersome. Was that a TMI? :-3
Do you like fireworks?
Sure. Especially the ones that come off in a half-cascade and dissipate into real pretty sparkles.

I know it sounds boring but flan. It's a type of custard pudding they serve in the Mexican places out here. It's got hot caramel sauce poured over it and it's got a very sensuous taste. The heat has something to do with it.

I sent K a box of them because he said he'd never had maple sugar candy before. It was SO HARD not to tear open the box and devour them myself!!! :wah:
Shirt color? I never really thought about it much but I do like men in black. A lot. And red. I was at the lounge last night watching this band I know and Kirk the sax player had on a black 40s style getup and damn Sam, he looked incredibly good. OH! OH! I LOVE button up shirts, preferably white, with the sleeves rolled up to the elbow, preferably tucked into Levi's. Got to be Levi's. Got to be 501s.
And nobody knows this but I will swoon over a man in a bowtie. Doesn't matter if he's 8 or 80, I see the bowtie and I am totally charmed.
