Hello everybody,

Joan I really had a chuckle at those words for 'My favourite things', I haven't heard that version before !

Kaz, we've had several 'trick or treaters' and one group of youngsters had a very chubby boy all dressed up. They were offered a bowl with 'celebration' sweets in it, whereas they took one each, the chubby lad grabbed three or four ! No wonder he's chubby !!!

As regards me and me bugs - well the soluble aspirin didn't do much for me last night, and I have been 'confined to barracks' so I will not be travelling to London for my sister-in-law's funeral on Thursday. Because of this my son insists he is also staying home because of all the yob trouble we've been having, and he doesn't like the thought of his mum on her own, when she aint feeling very well. So hubby is going on the coach by himself, and he's just getting over a right streamer. Andy, touch wood, so far is OK. No I don't have the slightest runny nose, so maybe what I've got is something different from what Chris has had.

I've also been banned from doing any more sorting out for the moment, but we'll see about that :sneaky:

Maybe then I will see you Carol on Thursday sometime, after all Mrs Posh ! Unless I've nodded off, which is what I seem to be doing a lot of at the moment :wah:

Kay, hope things are not too bad for you, and hubby is improving. Sorry, by the way, I overtook you in that Arcade game about matching the squares ------ crikey Kay I fed the dog, cleared up the kitchen, sorted me washed clothes out, made a cup of tea, and watched a programme on TV, then I checked me score on that game, ah well, it was just a case of sussing out how it was done ;)

Love to all my friends xxx :-4

Oh Joan im so sorry:-4 when my dad was in hospital after his stroke(s) it made me realise he was lucky really as there were others there much worse off than him. Obviously you are going to be giving him as much of your time as possible now, so dont worry bout us, but it will be nice if you do get to pop on and keep us up to date. My thoughts are with you and yours joan:-4

My grateful thanks for all your care and concern after yet another hiccup with Tony.

He had a fairly good night but he was absolutely exhausted after all that went on yesterday and seems even more confused this morning than he was, so guess there's more damage to his brain after him being unconscious through lack of oxygen.

My next door neighbour came round and took Sophie for a walk a couple of times for which again I was very grateful.

I will pop in when time allows and just to say you all take care , your friendship is very valuable to me and I feel this is where I can *let of steam* when things get tense here.

Joan, that is what we are all here for - so that our friends can 'let off steam' and know there will always be somebody to hear them, and perhaps be able to give a little comfort.

Watermark - Erin, I'm sure I just do not know what you mean by "I shouldn't frequent this place ". Anybody and everybody is welcome on this thread. The more the merrier. We talk about anything, and everybody is very friendly. There are lots of jokes, poems, pictures. There is a lot of 'banter' which, of course shouldn't be taken too seriously, because we tease each other from time to time - and we know that it is only meant in friendship.

So please, Erin, do visit again and enjoy our little thread - you are most welcome

Hi Rosie ! Thanks for the PM, a lovely thought xxx

Hi Mrs Posh - I guess that's one venue struck off your list then :(

Oh and by the way Your Majesty, the Arcade is not the "be all and end all" of our existence. It is, however, a fun way to wind down, or chill out, or to take one's mind off other things. I am quite sure that there are not many of us that are actually addicted to the Arcade :lips: :D :-4
