Good to see you back with us Kaz and we missed you girl. Glad you approve of me having to put me foot down with the Guv but she has to get out of that place as we all hate to see her having to encounter such hassle........tell yer mate if only I lived closer Id knock their bleedin blocks off.......anyway keep an eye on the old bird(oh gawd high jumps for me:wah:) and make sure she gets on with the sorting of that house so she can move and live the rest of her MANY (phew that should keep her abit happy:rolleyes:) days out happy and content...............if thats possible for the old bat.:yh_rotfl...... oh dear before it was high jumps now I reckon its a killing job lol.Oh no Kaz unless they were very posh slippers with pigs on they wernt mine..........and if they were whoever was selling them are crooks s I do them for £1.50.Ive been out today and it was dead, the slippers are just apart of what I sell......I must do about 100 different lines.....but I still sold 40pairs today and I was away from there at 1pm so not bad ah.Talk soon mate I hopexxx

hi carol,

just been on your fave shopping channel and got some of those plastic storage containers that you suck the air out of ( and before you say owt, i mean with the ruddy hoover :rolleyes: ) i got some in woolies yesterday, just two in a pack for £10 !! although they wernt that big, i got two black bags of bedding in as well as two dressing gowns so i was well impressed. ( easily pleased me

)

i can feel a clear out mode coming on, still got a lot of stuff that belongs to my barrie but like someone said to me, memories are in your head not cardboard boxes !!

also got three crates of videos that i know ruddy well i shall never watch again so tis time to get me ruthless head on again and get rid.

I used to sell them bags mate...... 4 for a fiver:wah:Actually mate you can use a black bag an suck the air out with a hoover an it has the same affect..........try it..............Carols hint for the day:wah:xx

hi joan, i saw someone in town yesterday who looked very much like you, just as i was about to say hello are you joan, someone called her by name so i knew it wasnt you !!

its still fairly busy here but i think now, its xmas bargain hunters rather than holiday makers. i doubt if half term next week will make much difference cos its only 68 days til christmas, heaven forbid and folk have better things to spend their money on.

Thanks Joan for the info, but I feel pretty certain that I wouldn't be able to afford it !

By the way some yobs set fire to a lock-up garage just down the road from us at teatime - two fire engines attended. Makes one wonder how long it will be before they progress to cars or even houses !

I have tried to put a photo of it on here, but it's too big !! Perhaps somebody can let me know how I can reduce the picture size - but not on a permanent basis - just so I can get them on the thread. :-5

just to let you know you are not alone in the arson attacks, plymouth firemen dealt with 13 fires in 4hrs last night, a block of flats was set on fire in st austell where they have bailed a 14yr old girl over it and not many minits from joan theres another big fire going on now and a lot of folk have been evacuated, they reckon it could get worse nearer to bonfire night !!!

well, i've rushed round like a scalded cat this morning to get stuff done only to be told our darts match has been cancelled ( due to a large party of rugby players taking over the pub :-4 i volunteered to go and play by myself so i could check em out

the potatos havnt been delivered so i dont go into work til they are. lets hope its not 7pm like it was last time !!

anyway, i suppose it has its advantages,like an extra cuppa or something.

as much as your suggestion of coming to see you is a nice idea, the stupid hours i work, ( 12-30 til 2pm,six days a week ) really prohibit me doing anything. i havnt got time to do anything before that and by the time i finish, wash and change, its flippin half three so thats the afternoon gone for a burton, specially as its going to be dark now by 5pm. hopefully we can sort something out one day.

Well hubby is plodding along, he is on strong pain killers so sleeps most of the day.

Finally finished painting thankgoodness so will hang the new curtains today and my son can finally move back into his room.

A bit of excitement last night just down the hill from where I live when quite a few houses had to be evacuated due to a fire at an old lime kiln which turned out bundles for kindling, the fire was soon put out but it was the acetylene tanks that were hazardous and the fire brigade had their hoses on the tank for twenty fours hours and the roads were only opened about 4.30 this afternoon so quite a lot of disruption for a small hamlet but thankfully nobody was hurt.

Sophie was very nervous of the volume of cars that were being diverted when we were out for our afternoon walk.

Ahhhhhh bless her.....I think an extra cuddle is needed lolxxx

When somebody gives a special friend of mine a terrible ear-bashing that they just did not deserve, I feel so incensed, and I want to put that somebody right. But I have been told to let the matter drop, and I will not break a promise. But it doesn't stop me feeling so angry about it. :-5

Anyway, I have been working hard sorting stuff out - a sort of Spring clean in Autumn! But we've got to get the house sorted and redecorated so we can put it on the market. We've just got to get out of this area. Enough is enough. By the way, on Friday the yobs set fire to a lock-up garage just along from our house, then this evening the idiots kicked another lock-up garage door in, one next to our own. Makes you wonder what next will they do But for the moment I'm knackered and need some sleep - tomorrow is another day.

Ere our local tip is getting filled up !

I was meant to work today but due to circumstances Im staying home to

day.Good to see you Gill and sometimes mate you have to walk away from certain people in your life when they are causing you pain .....for times like that I always read Reaons, Seasons as the words ring so many bells.It does hurt when people you care about......no matter who they are......hurt you so bad that they kill something inside you, but people have to sort their own problems out Gill but also saying that also need a friend.......as Im sure your friend does right now.

Im watching old Top Of The Pops on the TV at the moment....goodness there was some good songs about then......oh gawd the years have gone just to quick.Well I may try to get my head down as I didn.t sleep to good last night so hope you all have a nice day and dinner Kaz lol xxx;)

Hope you all remembered to put yer clocks back:wah: i just popped on to say hi really, im going in the shower soon and transform mesel from horrible morning monster to normal decent human being:D Then i will be doing some work and later im off to my daughters for sunday lunch! she usually comes to me for her lunch so it will be a nice change for me, also she has changed one of her bedrooms in to a dining room so i think she is testing it out lol.
