The council were supposed to be testing the ceiling today for asbestos, they came at nine this morning and told me that they were not here to test the ceiling but repair it, WT?!?!?! Until I get this report done we are unable to do a thing, we have no flooring and have lost a lot of furniture due to the flood, we are unable to even sit downstairs :-5 So I am now waiting for a call back, the council are saying that we need to get the testing done on the contents insurance but it should be done on Building insurance which we don't have because it is a council property, just one big song and dance *sigh* I am sick of arguing with everyone.

Oh well, I hope that they will call me soon or I'm calling back, I just want the place livable again.

Tell you where I've been this evening Mrs. Posh. Standing guard over our property. Yes the bastards tried to roll Andy's car again tonight, at around 9pm. Police were rung. Then the gang returned, there were about 25 of them, hoodies, pompom hats, the usual uniform. Andy, me and Rex our alsatian were in the front garden shaded by trees and shrubs. I had my camera and a night stick. We went to the open gate, they saw us and they saw a very large alsatian. They walked on, muttering obscenities, one said to another "that's the car". They disappeared from view. We waited back in the garden. The police arrived at around 10 pm. Fast response ! We now feel we are targeted and now under seige. We wonder what will happen next. My husband will be returning tomorrow, a day earlier than he'd planned but at least we know that his sister's funeral will be a week this friday. Must remember to take both our little Reliant cars to where we store our caravan, as we will be travelling in the Volvo, and we dare not leave the little cars outside our house.

The time now is 11.23 pm, it seems quiet out there, maybe I can have a hot chocolate drink, but I don't know whether I will sleep much tonight.

ps. No I didn't manage to get a photo of them, wouldn't have been any good because the bastards didn't turn to face us.

you will have to get a cctv put up mate to record anything that happens then you've got evidence for the authorities. you might get a face on there then you've got em by the boll***s. mind what you're doing, no ruddy car is worth injury no matter how fond you are of them. xx

Hi Helen, Yes we have CCTV, that's why they did not succeed this time, because Andy saw the car being rocked violently on the monitor. We dashed to the door with the dog, but as we always keep our door locked, this delayed us a few seconds. But t hey obviously heard us unlocking the door, so legged it before they could manage to roll it.

We've had CCTV for several years, we have video recording facilities, and previous footage has been shown to the police at the time. Unfortunately they say the pictures would not be allowed in court as they were not good enough for identification purposes. But they are very useful as a warning system. You can get cameras etc that are very much better than the ones we've got, but we just can't afford them.

been a chilly old day today but the sunset is bringing out some pretty colours now. the dog seems to have recovered from his upset this morning, well, he's eaten his tea anyway.

we've got the heating on at long last, changed some curtains today and cleaned me windows, didnt realize they didnt come with patterns on :wah: i can actually see outside now !!

i use soapy water and dry them with scrunched up newspaper, you cant beat the old fashioned remedys.

One evening a husband, thinking he was being funny, said to his wife 'Perhaps we should start washing your clothes in Slim Fast. Maybe it would take a few inches off of your butt!!'

His wife was not amused, and decided that she simply couldn't let such a comment go unrewarded.



The next morning the husband took a pair of underwear out of his drawer. 'What the heck is this??' he said to himself as a little 'dust' cloud appeared when he shook them out. 'April,' he hollered into the bathroom, 'Why did you put talcum powder in my underwear?'



She replied with a snicker... 'It's not talcum powder..... It's 'Miracle Grow'.:wah::wah:;)

They were together in the House.



Just the two of them.

It was a cold, dark, stormy night. The storm had come quickly and





each time the thunder boomed he watched her jump.

She looked across the room and admired his strong appearance...and



wished that he would take her in his arms, comfort her and protect her from the storm.

She wanted that...more than anything.

Suddenly, with a pop, the power went out... She screamed...

He raced to the sofa where she was cowering.

He didn't hesitate to pull her into his arms.



He knew this was a forbidden union and expected her to pull back.



He was surprised when she didn't resist but instead clung to him.

The storm raged on...as did their growing passion.



and there came a moment when each knew that they had to be together.

They knew it was wrong...

Their families would never understand... So consumed were



they in their passion that they heard no opening



of doors...just the faint click of a camera......

Right Im here to tell you something...............I have just had a long chat with Gill and Im afraid I had to "Bully" her somewhat....but sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. She needs to get out of that house as she knows and she has been trying to get it sorted but she told me its going to take ages. WRONG!!!I told her she has 2 men in tht house and herself and she need to get off this bloody machine that as we all know can take over yer life and get stuck in as we all care for her and hate to see the problems she is going through and we all want our old Gill back.She was more worried about us lot and she wouldn't be here for us. I wont say what I told her as I would get a life ban lol but she has told me to say to her dear friends that mail her etc .....can you please stop until shes sorted.She wont be here much now and also wont have time to sort her mail.Gill is one special lady and I cant watch her being in so much distress and if that means we all have to go withour our dear friend while shes sorting her life out................well tough.She sends her love to EVERYONE and I for one say.................Good on yer girl....you get that house sorted to put on the market and don't worry we all will be here for you whenever you need us and don't worry how long you take cause I for one ain't going anywhere womanxxx

As Carol has already mentioned, I shall not be on here very often. We've just got to get a move on and get our house sorted and loads more stuff to clear out, so we can decorate right through the house, put it on the market and get away from the suburbs of a big city. Without the 'pondlife' that comes into the area from other areas, it would be a nice place to live. There is a superb view because we are fairly high up a hill and we can see three counties. But enough is enough. So you'll have to bear with me for a while. I shall try to pop in from time to time, but not that often, because Her Majesty will be watching. :wah: Carol, you are a bully, but I love you to bits, and you are a lovely friend. :-4

On another note, hubby is recovering good from his op, although his has been vomiting a lot and bringing up blood clots....dont know if that is serious or not, anyway the doctor will be seeing him the morning so should know more later. He hopes to be home today or tomorrow depends what the doc says. Its been hard trying to visit with the two babies and paint but I am superwoman:yh_rotfl

We did have a great time at the caravan, although it was bloomin freezin on the tuesday night lol. But we really did enjoy the break. PIty we had to come back to a tip cos my son cant be trusted to look after the house proper while we are away:-5:-5
