Next Sunday, I will have her for a few hours in the afternoon.

That is so true. But my current situation puts me at loggerheads with my role as her father. This makes me so depressed and ashamed. There's very little I can do though.

I was blessed as a child but my strongest memories are of the one's that cost nothing. Walks in the woods with dad. Picking flowers and learning about the country side. Dad making sand castles on the beach.... all that sort of thing.

I only had her for three hours. My car is off the road until I can afford to get it MOT'd. Plus, I have no food. Her Mum fed her at home and brought her over at 12:30 with some bites for her. The time flew by but we had a caper, a chuckle and a few tickles about the house.:-6:-6

The Tobbacco Tom gave me is in a seperate padded envelope for you. Pete has booked the car in for It's MOT and should get through bar silly cosmetic stuff. :-6:-6:-6

Do you know, when I turned 50, I consciously said to myself, "Well, I'm obviously not meant to have had any children, and, at 50, it wouldn't be fair on the child". A partner from earlier in my life proved that I was infertile when she tried to foist some other guy's child onto me.

I was shocked when Arabella's mother announced her pregnancy. But my natural feelings for Arabella surprised me. I felt nothing for the child that was foisted on me as mine whereas I began developing feelings for Arabella before she was born. Strange that! Neither did it occur to me that I would become fertile.
