what a morning ive had. as my hours have been cut right down, im now able to get some help towards my rent so off i go to the council office, armed with 6 weeks wage slips and bank statements

the bank statements dont go back far enough so off i go to the bank to get new ones.

they then dont have the banks offical stamp on them, something theyve never needed before so back i go again. :-5.

as one statement is just a savings account and not been used for some time its only been printed out up to july............... not good enough for the council so back i go AGAIN :-5 :-5

by this time im on first name terms with the guy in the bank, asking after his mother and what he's having for tea tonight :rolleyes::D

what should have been a two minute job has taken me most of the morning to sort out so now im way behind and havnt got done half of what i wanted to do and now its nearly 3pm.

Well what a week it has been for me concerning Laura's car. They are finally able to fix the ignition which I had to buy from Ford for the tune of $190, now the repairman is out in the drive fixing it. She tells us last night that she also got a ticket down the beach for $250 for parking in the handicap zone:mad: So far this whole mess of daughter's has cost us over $600

Well, I am getting the last laugh on this episode as we are inheriting a Honda Accord from hubs dead uncle and I will be driving it for the time being until daughter pays us back.:wah: and ponies up some bucks for car insurance. If she doesn't want to pay, she won't be driving the Honda. She'll be stuck with her Ford Escort, hahahahahaha:wah:

Basically large threads like this drain the server, BUT this one doesn't get deleted, it just gets closed so it's permanently visible. The new thread carries the same name and the first post on it links back to the original and explains why there's a second been started.
