Thankfully my parents as always are wonderful, and are happy for me either way, couldn't ask for any better!! :-4

How are the family, all keeping well I hope? :)

Well I'm doing a study from home university courses, which is just the same as normal, just without actually being out there, (which is a slight shame,) but then costs an awful lot less, (which is far more important for little poor me!) :D

Ah you wanted to get into teaching too. I'm sure you would be great at it too Hope, we could do with more great teachers like you and Chicky that's for sure. I wish you all the best when and if you decide to go back to study! :-6

That's great news, and after all you have told me about her adventures with the kids, it's wonderful to see that she is loving every minute and still in such great spirits! :-6

Oh that reminds me, some of my family are heading over to NI in about three weeks to visit my gran in Lisburn. I wanted to come, but alas my brother has important exams to do, so he can't go, and therefore I'm stuck as babysitter. Still it will be nice for them I'm sure! :)

You know I'll have to come up with a nickname for in here for you too. Being the Chief I could call you SIC (second in command,) but it's not too catchy. :wah:

yeah, my momma always said i was born to be a teacher, when i was a little girl that's how i played with my dolls, i lined them up on the couch and pretended to be their teacher!:wah: but sadly my dad died when i was 17 and derailed any plans for college, i was 25 before i finally got to start back to school, and i've been going off and on ever since.

Well when I was younger, I used to always try and teach my younger brothers and help them with their homework like a teacher. In actual fact my dad only today asked me whether I remember shouting at other kids in school, for not being as smart as me, and not knowing the right answers!

Yeah my parents said that too, but I don't think it's my cup of tea personally. You never know though, but it takes an awful lot of hard work to become one, and in today's society a lot of dedication and patience!

Ah that's the one. Yeah I heard they spent an awful lot of money on it, and it was supposed to be going to rake in a lot of tourism into the area. I wonder whether it will work, you'll have to let me know what's it's like if you get the chance to visit. :)

Well I've found that those shops that are normally in posh centres are all rubbish anyway, and certainly aren't worth anyone's time let alone money, but clearly these designers think differently I guess! :-3

So any plans for the rest of the week heading into the weekend?

Going to visit mum and dad this weekend - we have a new addition in my house.

(of the four legged variety) so I'm taking him to see mum on Sunday :)

Well the weather here had been rubbish, but it was really nice today. I think that's supposed to change the next few days though, so looks like I will be stuck indoors. Given that's the case probably the usual, on the internet, helping my mum around the house with chores, nothing too fancy I guess! :D

oh i love going to the auctions they have around here, they have a lot of farm equipment auctions and a lot of personal property ones to where the're selling the stuff out of peoples houses, you can find some great buys, i got a entire dining room of furniture for less than $400 once, and it was like new!

i really like the antique and collectable auctions too, i collect that old pink depressionware glass if you've ever heard of it? it seems like every household around here has a least a few pieces so i can do pretty good at the auctions.
