Jimbo I really hope for your sake that you haven't, me little pomegranate. Not sure which type you mean !
Trojan horse
n.
1. A subversive group or device placed within enemy ranks.
2. The hollow wooden horse in which, according to legend, Greeks hid and gained entrance to Troy, later opening the gates to their army.
3. Computer Science. A program that appears to be legitimate but is designed to have destructive effects, as to data residing in the computer onto which the program was loaded.

Good morning to everyone, haven't been on as much as usual, been out in the car and took the kids to the park yesterday as it was a really hot day.
Kids are just finishing their breakfast, so will probably get them ready and go out somewhere again.
Hope all is well with you all and you have a nice day x x
just one question, i made this up after my dad died when i was 11 and wondered what you thought of it
There you are laying there
i can't see you
i can't hear you
but i can feel you, deep within my heart
That is how i will always remember you
and i will alway, always love you
I just asked, cos i was thinking when i have enough money one day, to get it put on his head stone.
Like i say i was only young when i made that up, but would like your honest opinion. ( i won't take offence )
Thanks

For an 11year old child to have written that..........good on yer girl.Let me tell you something babe. Im not ging to go into detail here but I had a real crap childhood, the truth is I didn't have one.It took me many years to realise my mother did actually love me but that was on her death bed.Although the insecurity has stayed with me all my life and I guess will never go away no matter what, I have to say that in death she has given me so much. One is poetry and that came when she died. I was getting up all hours of the night to write words that just flowed out. Maybe you have seen a couple I put on the poetry section of FG. I also have been lucky enough to have a couple published. She also gave me a singing voice as she also used to sing. Her favourite song was Somewhere Over The Rainbow as she was mad about Judy Garland. My mother had a bad death but to this day i know she is there and has helped me many times I do believe that to the point of even saving my life. I remember a big butch looking policeman saying to me after a lorry had hit my car on the M6 and had made it go into the fast lane and back into the slow lane with 4 of my dogs in it also..........he just couldnt believe the fact that we all walked away without a scratch and nobody else was involved ......he just looked at me shaking his head saying in 20 years he had never seen anything like it and I indeed have a guardian angel looking after me.I believe its her yes as all she kept saying in her last hours was about all those wasted years..........seems shes making up for them now.Oh and one last thing.......on her stone Kinks I put.....At Last You Have Found Your Rainbow...........and thank God she has.

I'm sorry you had a bad childhood, but i'm glad in the end you found out she really did love you.
Reading that made me go all cold and if i'm honest that last bit brought a tear to my eye, that was a lovely thing put put on her headstone.
She really must be looking over you, for you to come out of that alive (and your dogs).
Thankyou for sharing that, it was sad but lovely at the same time (if that makes sense)

morning all
guess i owe you all a big apology for my some what sarcastic post last night.
its the aniversary of my partners death on the 18th ( yes i know its only the 2nd today ) it feels just as bad now as it was when it happened two years ago.
yesterday i took his best friend to see where his ashes where placed on the family grave, behind what i thought was a solid concrete bible. ( his children woudnt let me attend when they did this ) so i didnt know any different.
i pushed the bible with one hand, thinking it woudnt move and the whole thing just lifted up and the ashes were still there...................

River Trent, east of Nottingham, from the air.
The river itself runs from top right to bottom left. Holme Pierrepont National Watersports Rowing course is to the left of the river, with a 'lagoon' left of that. The large expanse of water to the right of the river is Colwick Park Lake. and between that lake and the river you can see the Colwick Marina, where we had moorings for our charter'trip boat when she was 'off duty'. To the top right corner you can just make out (in the mist) Colwick Hall in amongst the trees. Lord Byron had associations with this hall. Nearly at the bottom on the right can be seen the 'regimented' lines of 'Candle Meadow' estate, and below that and along to the left is Colwick, a suburb of Nottingham. Out of the picture, just, top right is Nottingham Race Track (Flat racing and also a greyhound stadium).
Hi everybody, hope you are having a reasonable day now we've got past Monday!!
Kay - I bet you'll see a change in that little one !
Kinks - lovely words, you go for it !
Jimbo - I think we're all OK, thanks, I hope you and Sue are

Kaz - Hi, perhaps catch you on MSN in a little while - got to do all Chris's e-mails first - he's back this evening.
