hi helen:D we probably could get help that way,,, not 100% sure thought the care for elderly her is a joke. I think he is frightened they will want to admit him though, we are waiting at the moment for a place in a rehabilitation centre where they may be able to help him, and to be honest our hospital is also a joke, he wouldnt get looked after in there, in fact i think he would just be left to lie in bed:( Its took them a year since he first started having the strokes till he has gradually got worse and worse, now they wanna help:rolleyes::mad: If they think my mam cant cope they will send carers in,,, then they might not place him in a rehab where they are specialised to try get them up and about again.

It is Helen:-3 i think they were quick in wanting to send carers in to help look after him rather than actually trying to make him any better! I mean why diddnt the occupational therapist suggest the rehab centre ages ago, or the time before that when he was in hospital,, or even the time before that???? seems once you get to a certain age you are just writen off:-5
