surely happiness is a perspective.

If for example I fell off a cliff survived several days alone in the wilderness and the doctors said that all I had to show for it was a slight touch of gangrene on the very tip of my little toe...:)

Hey...it's a BEAUTIFUL day here on St Georges day in the UK. My grandson Kai stayed last night and 1st thing this morning we went out and bought 'Swing ball' ....what a laugh we've had. Tonight I'm going to a nice restaurant to celebrate a work colleagues birthday..she has NO idea and will be totally overcome when she sees 20 of us all waiting to celebrate with her.

Tomorrow...who knows...if it's nice I might go to Brighton on the train and 'mouch' around a bit...maybe walk by the sea...happy days....spring is here at last.:-6

My goodness valerie...that sounds like a challenge...oh yeh...i still have my wedding dress which is 40 yrs old. You may ask why when my marriage has gone to pot....well i guess firstly my Mum made it, and secondly despite everything, it symbolises hope for the future, a new life, a wonderful day.

I guess it'll be a family heirloom in another 40 years :D I'll try and find a picture of me wearing it...

I've had a good day today...the weather's been sunnyish and this morning I went to IKEA with my son and grandson to buy him some furniture. Cut the grass and did some gardening when I got home and at the moment I'm babysitting Lewis and 'playing ' on marks computer...all in all a satisfactory day. Tomorrow I'm off to an open air museum where they are having a food and drink event.. http://www.wealddown.co.uk/special-even ... m.htm#food

I'm hoping to find something special to take to Ravens for the 'big get together'

Oh, a lovely day, Bez.

I did all my shopping, had a 3 hour meeting, and mowed the yard. I am going to reward myself with a half hour of playing the piano.

Tomorrow, I think I'll wear my Def Leppard Pyromania sweatshirt from 1983. Kept it as it was the first set I ever worked on. Has got a couple of moth holes and a stretched neck though.

Maybe I'll just wear it round the house then....how's that?

Oh I wish I could hear you. I used to play the piano...it's all consuming....you can just shut the door on the world and get lost in the music...:) I used to play a lot of Bach.
