:-6 Good morning y'all! Hmmm...I see Clipper hasn't arrived AGAIN. And Far's late too, getting the breakfast menu posted this morning.

I'll be back....help yourself to coffee.

Monday Breakfast Menu...............

Fresh hot Belgium waffles w/strawberries & whipped cream topping

Crispy-fried hickory smoked bacon

Eggs to order on the side

Hot cocoa topped with marshmellows

Homemade do-nuts with powdered sugar coating

Beverages of your choice including hot-brewed tea

Today's Lunch is

Sweet and Spicy Spare Ribs

or

Pulled BBQ Pork Sandwhich

Red Beans on the spicy side

Big Granny's Sweet coleslaw

and jalepeno cornbread.

Dessert is

German Chocolate Cake

no fair reading about this good sounding food, I can't taste or smell, my only savior is strong coffee with honey in it, can't explain the taste as it is kind of an "essense of" but it feels soothing

Maybe I need some killer Far, level ten, hot chili or something...

good to hear. Nice seeing you this am, looks like we all gotta pitch in and make breakfast. I got the french toast going, nice thick slices of french bread soaked in egg with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon, hmmmmm and boysenberry syrup.

I watched the Chronicles of Narnia Saturday night. I really enjoyed it. Yesterday I spent the day outside.

I'll help you Minks....got the bacon, sausage and ham going.

Yeah Sheryl...I too spent yesterday outdoors. What beautiful weather! My dog though, thought it was warm enough to go swimming in the creek and dove in...hahahaha, ya should have seen his eyes when he hit that cold water! :wah: He didn't stay in it too long!

If it stays pretty today, I'm going to clean up the backyard. Yesterday we were supposed to fix the swingset that the wind blew down, but didn't have the right bolts.

Busy girls hehehe I attempted to clean out my closet Friday night and came across a box I had not unpacked for over 3 years. When I opened it it was full of pictures no not photos, but my pictures I had hung in our old dining room wall and for some reason a flood of tears came as I cried about the past. Sigh not terribly sad, just emotional. Needless to say I pulled all kinds of stuff out of the closet, threw out 2 bags of garbage stowed my winter clothes into a box and gathered one bag for the womens shelter and after an hour I could no longer stand the mess in my room so neetly stacked most of the stuff back in the closet. Times like that when doing that kind of stuff alone by myself feels overwhelming hehehehe NO sense of accomplishemt there ahahahahaha

Having my second coffee, and reading the paper. Leaving the comics aside incase Far swings by.

I have no idea where chief cook clipper is..... Far is busy at work, he is likely going to be missing in action for some time here.
