A Dogs Life





As I lay here in my basket

I think about the past

Those days when I chased rabbits...........Oh I run so fast

I never ever hurt them, i just liked to play

And if I saw they were babies

I just turned and went away

I would always look after my mistress.........and I loved her so

No matter where she went I would always go

But then one day she went away

And never said Goodbye, I was so unhappy and it really made me cry

They said she had gone to heaven

Wherever that may be............

Why didn't she take me with her........I wouldn't have been naughty you see

Then I was taken to this place

That is so cold and grey

They locked me in a cage and then they went away

I dont want to eat and oh I am so cold

Dosen't anybody want me now I am growing old?

But wait........am I dreaming

Is somebody taking me away?

PLEASE let it be......if only for just a day

Where am I going and what is to become of me

Won't somebody love me just like it used to be

I am now in a room and there is a funny smell

There is a man in a white coat

And theres other dogs here as well

He is picking me up and stroking my head

He tells me I will be alright

So why am I worried instead?

Suddenly I feel so tired and my eyes just want to close

I think I will go to sleep now and dream of long ago

Goodnight and Goodbye

I can hardly lift my head

So maybe now at last I can have a nice long rest

I just now want to sleep I feel as light as air

Everything looks beautiful and I feel I haven't a care

OH!!!I cant believe it................my mistress is sudenly here

She is giving me lots of cuddles

And saying she will always be near....................

I don't care what has happened to me in the past

I know THIS must be heaven

And I'm happy again.................at last......

This post does seem a bit crabby stroller:-3 But what i was trying to say was your original post did seem to me that you were a bit upset and in a bit of a mood. Carol can speak for herself. Everyones different in their way of dealing with things, and in the way they post/type stroller that was my whole point. seeing as you asked, and made me think about it, the first time you seemed to have had an issue here seemed to be directed at Carol. so maybe that was still in the back of her mind i dont know. As for Warranting anything thats been said i think i have already said you "came across" like you were ready for an argument or "trouble" and again i will say we have went over it, put our points across and accepted them.
