Gong out today for coffee & cake,then I will have to walk more tomorrow.

Our littlest grandson is sick ,getting his eye teeth:(

He was so miserable yesterday, bless. He sat on my lap & we read books & he fell asleep.Poor little man .

I hate it when they are in pain & not feeling well.

Went to Atlantic City today with a few friends...we walked our tootsies off and gambled a bit...only lost $50 in the slots....wanted to play blackjack but it's too expensive....there were only 2 cheap tables....each $10 a hand, the rest were upwards to hundreds a hand..... AIN'T doin that:p. Had fun at an Irish pub on the boardwalk...even sang a Donegal song:guitarist

I've only been to AC once. My parents used to take us to Wildwood, NJ when we were kids. It's south of AC.

I'm not a fan of AC but go when I have company...it's a nice way to spend a day....sun, sand, boardwalk, entertainment, glamour and great restaurants.

I wanted to check out the Tropicana casino....I have a gift cert for $300 that I want to use in Aug. before I return back to work. I'm not a gambler, but love to play the slots and play blackjack once in a bit.

The city is dangerous so you know to park at the casinos and not veer down the side streets and then you'll be ok.

Ducky and I know Wildwood very well. I used to go there when I was a child with my grandparents....their cousins had an Irish pub a block away from the boardwalk. It was great fun then. I live about an hour and 1/2 north of Wildwood.

Wildwood was a lot of fun when I was growing up as well. My father used to drive the 5 1/2 hrs. from Pennsylvania to take our family on vacation to Wildwood every summer until my brother and I were old enough to help him with the driving.



When I was older, I took my husband (then boyfriend) there. He's mostly of Irish decent and loved the Irish pubs there, among other things!

Glad to know Morey's pier is still there. I liked the beach better before they made it so much wider...takes forever to get to the water now. :wah:

Your daughter sounds exactly how I acted when I was 18. I remember always telling my mother I'm "starving". I guess some things never change. :wah:
