You mentioned that you enjoy the Saxaphone within a song. There is a song called "Will You" by Hazel O'Connor. It has probably one of the most plaintive sax solos you'll ever hear, and it comes in at the end of the song. The emotion that the player manages to convey is remarkable.

There are 2 things I remember about this song Clancy. The first is rude so on to the second. The thing that gave this track momentum which led to its chart-topping, was Steve Wrights show on Radio 1. It was his first year (1981) and he used to do a feature with the sax solo underneath it. Of course it's so superb that everyone wanted to know what it was, and the rest as they say, is history.

My brother backed Hazel O'Connor a couple of years back so she's still treading the boards

"Lust for Kicks" The Cars, it was preceded by "The Way you look tonight" by Frank Sinatra...

I've got my MP3 player hooked up to my stereo in my classroom. I'm randomizing 500 songs while I (supposedly) grade papers.

Oh...the title music for "Wizard of Oz" is playing now!

I have eccentric tastes!:D

:wah: Oh, I have a collection of songs on my laptop for the classroom.

On those certain Monday mornings, a random song from sci-fi themes-fits a 7th grader's mood as they stroll in the door.

*Forbidden Planet theme is a good one*
