gas prices have now raised 4cents for our upcoming long weekend, they do this every weekend, but on the long ones raise it even higher!~

property taxes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,they rise on an average of 3% each year here!

water

electricity

cable

phone

car insurance for two vehicles

drug stores, prescriptions

groceries

odds and sods

geez!

sooo worried about Gustav. Have lived in the gulf area now for 16 years. but each storm doesn't get any easier.

Geeze, are you ok...we were so worried about you. Guppy created a thread about Gustav.

I'm hoping by now your hubby is home. Heard that they evacuated all the people from the oil rigs.

What will you do if the storm worsens? Do you have a plan....I'm sure you do:-6

Stay safe now:-6 Yes so far so good. should hit bu Tues. morning. we live about 175 miles from N.O. we are NOT being forced to evcatuate yet. We have sooo many four legged kids. Not sure what to do. plus my hubby's brother has cancer. we would NOT leave him behind. SOOOO stressed out!!!!:-5:-5 hubby got home a day early Weds. We will try to think positive. Please keep us and everyone else in the path of Gustav, in your thoughts and prayers. Do you know he will make land fall the same day, Katrina did.??

Please make sure you keep in touch with someone here so we'll know you're safe...maybe you could give someone here you trust your cell phone # or they could give you theirs if anything happens.

Hi, all. I AM BACK. Was not fun AT ALL. WE have many trees down and damage to our home. Just PRAYING IKE goes some place else!!!!!!
