Just made it. I had to take my car in for servicing this morning, luckily, it only sprinkled a little.

You're lucky then, everytime it rains hard here, I always somehow end to find myself outside and getting completely drenched.

Lucky you! However, there's this new fangled circular invention that seems to pop up, & you just put it over your head to keep the rain off!!

:p
(Or are you one of those who don't think its cool/hep to use them?)
PS: It's just started pouring rain here!

Wow this invention sounds great, don't suppose you know where I could find one of these do you, because I bet they cost a fortune!! :wah:
Seriously though I usually get wet because I can't be bothered to bring one with me, just for the 5 minute walk to the local shop, I suppose I really should of learnt by now huh!

That five minute walk getting soaked, will likely keep you "wet" all day long!
Sometimes in the "heavy rain", when I'm passing the few local neighborhood children waiting at the scool bus stop, (with no circular protection) I'll stop & offer to park the car at the stop & let them sit inside till the bus comes! With the way the world is today, that can be taken the wrong way. So I only offer it for the two kids who live accross my street, as their parents & the kids know me well, & the parents told the kids that they could.
I used to do the same thing for our daughters, when they were youngsters waiting at the bus stop.

That's really nice of you Cars, I bet the kids appreciate your kind gesture a lot. Thankfully our local bus stops have head protection from the rain, which is a good thing considering we get one bus every half an hour!

Yeah, some of our "public bus" stops have rain shelters. But none are to be had for the school bus stops, since they'e only kids, they can't vote!:wah:

hehehe oh yeah I bet that must really be a pain, but kids these days have to act tough in front of their friends, so they will just get wet without much complaint.

You missed the "Stylish" quote, meaning she wears what's in style, no matter what the gain or pain! She tells her parents they don't know what's in style, don't cha know!

Hehehe ah the pain and joy of having to fit in with the crowd, no matter what. I was always the outsider at school, guess that just goes to prove that I have no idea about style what-so-ever!

Oh of course, I could never imagine you to be a nerd hehehe.
Well most of my friends used to always bunk off school, or go to the pub all the time, and at that time I was head librarian, where the person in charge was also my teacher, so I spent most of my time there, not that I'm complaining I loved every minute of it!

Hi Guys. I've just been sent in here to let you all know that the people who've started word play threads are aghast, appalled, outraged and demonstrating against 24, who's just dissed them in a most unseemly manner. He's a pain in the nostils anyway of course. A much deserved, long overdue, public spanking is about to take place here:
