I know once your past the first year, you will stop dwelling specific dates.

You have come so far, and you will get through this, but I do admit the upcoming ones are really going to be hell, especially Christmas as Grant loved it so much.

Stay close to your family when you need them, you know they are always there for you....and I am to, I'm right here with you now at this moment and only a phone call away.:-4

I don't know if it'll stop, but I'm hoping it'll be a bit easier. Our anniversary will be really hard too...Grant loved to plan little get a ways for us, even if it was some hotel close by with a pool, and of course a whirlpool in the room. Room service, chocolate covered strawberries and beautiful flowers. And every Christmas he would surprise me with something...sometimes ordering it months in advance. He was so romantic, so much more than me. :-4:-4:-1

I sprained my ankle on Wednesday, then helped my daughter cook Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday which was about 6 hours of baking and cooking and was on my feet the whole time. By the time I got home, my ankle looked like a balloon and was bruising really bad, so I went to the ER to get x-rays to see if it was broken. Just a severe sprain so they put on a compress wrapping and stuck me with some crutches. Ice, elevation, and wrapped and no weight for a few days. I was supposed to go out to eat with my brother in law and his wife, but couldn't get ready and had to keep my foot up. Now they probably won't be back in town for about 6 months...and I was so looking forward to seeing them. :-5:-5:-5

I know you did...it just took me longer. But it worked out cuz I couldn't have helped on Thanksgiving if I was on crutches...so I went right after. :p

Just take it easy and maybe ice it. I had that once and it ended up being a pinched nerve in my neck. If it doesn't get better in a couple of days, go see the doc!

Of course, twice. but I just got an automated thingy that said they were having service problems in our area and they were working on it. Megan even had the same problem and she's about a 10-15 minute drive from me.
