If someone hadn't called the firemen out, I have no idea how it would have turned out. My alarm was set to go off half an hour after they hammered on my door. the first thing I do is have a pee and make a coffee. Then I would have gone upstairs to log onto my PC. If the fire hadn't started burning my bedroom ceiling by then, it probably would have been spreading along the rafters upstairs. I may not have even been able to get my PC out and my camera was on top of the PC. Who knows.

I give credit to whoever called the fire brigade. They're the ones that really made the difference.

Bear in mind that I've got a dead dodgy monitor. I did post a thread about it. It annoys the **** out of me as it's constantly flashing. I have a lot of trouble reading stuff with it. I am waiting until I can do a test that will determine for certain that it's my monitor that's at fault and not my graphics card. I should be able to do this soon.
