Suzy, I played your phone call for the host in search of a co-ho.

She asked when you could move to Florida.

Zoila Meyer, 40, was investigated by immigration officials acting on a tip-off after she won election to the city council of Adelanto in 2004.

Ms Meyer, originally from Cuba, quit after 10 weeks in office and applied to become a naturalized citizen. But this month, she was arrested after investigators turned up at her home. The mother-of-four had pleaded guilty in April last year to illegally voting in the election three years ago as a non-US citizen.

There will soon be a show called Against The Grain which is designed to shred news stories just like that.

I think the show should've been called WTF?:D

Just to keep this up to date, her hearing's postponed until September 12th and she's currently released on her own recognizance.

At least last Wednesday was fun.

I do hope it holds together - it's so much better if you can walk from one boat to another than have to swim off a submerging deck without a destination in view.

Have you the slightest idea what the business model for Internet Radio looks like? Because I don't.

eta: yes, if you're going to interview live that's a good bunch to call in!

Internet radio is still considered a joke. No bank will touch it.

If TWR crashes I'll get my station going somehow.

And trust me.

My idea is one that will stagger the entertainment industry.

Guaranteed.

Hey!

Who fixed the thread title?

Radidio was intentional!

I've been edited! I... I feel so... violated!

For the first time here I am truly offended.

To think that someone would assume my play on words was due to ignorance and take it upon themselves to edit.

I even repeated the word radidio within the thread!

Does KB. write beautiful stories or are they edited as well?

The thread title should be permanently fixed here, JD. I did it once before but someone still hasn't got the message that it's not a spelling mistake. I'll put a notice in the Moderator forum to tell them what's intended.

We haven't got this far yet, but I wanted to add a comparative case before this one's decided in four weeks:A Mexican woman whose fight to stay in the US with her US-born son attracted national attention has been sent back to Mexico as an illegal immigrant. Elvira Arellano was arrested in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon and deported several hours later.

She became a prominent figure after taking refuge in a Chicago church for a year to avoid being separated from eight-year-old Saul, a US citizen. He is staying with people who were with her when she was arrested. Ms Arellano was handed over to Mexican authorities in Tijuana at 2200 (0500GMT) and freed, Mexican officials said.

It's no longer at Tropic Wave Radio.

I do it on my own when I'm in the mood.

(Note:Glenn Miller. 1940)

Or sometimes my fans beg for it.

(Note:This has never happened.)

I try to do it on Saturday nights from 9pm til---- EST

I may do one tonight! :D

It depends on what time I get home from my date.

(e.g.: If I don't get home til tomorrow, it ain't happening tonight.)

I am planning a Holiday show for Saturday, Dec 22nd.

Classics, rarity's, and some you may have never before heard.

And Gary Hoy.:p

The show is free form. I start it off and you all make insane requests til it makes no more sense. I become a human jukebox. Or sometimes I'm just so damned good you have no requests. All you can do is soak in the beauty.:guitarist

It can be found here.

RadidioJD

I will post when on the air.
