Gill and Neffy, sorry you both have truoble sleeping, i very rarely have that trouble....... Its a gift i have:wah::wah: Gill nearly time for yer hols now eh? bet you are still busy getting sorted, i hope you have a great time when you go.

Carol are you still at yer tin shed? i hope you are making a better nurse than i would, im a terrible nurse,,, no patience you see:-5

I nearly forgot!!! My daughter has a new job!!! She is absolutely buzzing about it:guitarist She has been studying in childcare for the last two years, while also working as she has a mortgage and bills to pay and a car to run. the job she has been doing while studying is for a financial company as debt collector really, calling people about late or missed mortgage payments etc. and she hates it. Now she is a qualified early years practitioner, and has been offered a job in a large private nursery. She is taking a pay cut but doesnt care as its what she wants to do, she is also starting as nursery nurse when she is qualified for better really, but i think it will be her first step on the ladder. Im so proud of her and what she has achieved being just turned 21, I'm also proud of her for the person she is, and im glad she is just so happy at the moment, its all you want for your kids isnt it? to be happy.

morning everyone,

feeling quite pleased with myself this morning !!

dog walked,

been to doctors,

taken most of the stuff to the recycle bins,

did my cleaning up and its only 10-55 !!!

got a busy day today, we used all the potatos last night,that i did yesterday, 15 bags !! so i've got to do enough for today and to start us off tomorrow morning.

i SHOULD have tonight off, ha ha!! we'll see.

starting to get a bit cloudy out there now, we are supposed to have rain over the weekend so we wont have time to draw breath,

i'll try to get on msn later if i can, so we can have a natter before you go away.

hello joan,

my mum would always make bread puddings for me when she came to stay and leave in enough in the freezer ( if it ever got that far !! ) to last me a while. i do miss that now. i can make it but it never tastes the same as mums some how

Innit it just the way, when everything is trundling along, stuff being packed and taken to the caravan where we've got it in storage - leaves more room in the car for our dear little pooch ! Rex the alsatian ! Good job we've got a Volvo estate ! Then bang ! One 'hole in the wall' debit card was swallowed by the chuffin machine for no good reason. Got another one sent - priority cos we're off tomorrow. Received card, no pin number yet :-5 So I'm taking me water pistol, just in case we need a cash withdrawal while we're away !!! Only joking !........................... I think ?

Hopefully a friend who's checking our house and mail will be able to forward it on to us - just so long as Royal Mail play ball of course !!!

See you in September, and just behave yourselves while I'm not here to keep an eye on you all !:-4

Wellllllllll have I been having a good time or what!!!!Im going back Sunday night.....back Monday night.........then off Wednesday till Friday evening again an it will be like that till the end of the month. Ive been doing tons of singing and needless to say most people know me now there:wah:.....yes even though Im such a quiet .little fing:yh_rotfl. ere I gotta tell you.....I sung a couple of songs the other night and was asked to sing them again as they brought the house down...........mind you I was good:yh_rotfl.

mornin guys,

bootiful out there again but a bit windy, got a stack of washing on the line already and have also been shopping.

taking the dog out wasnt too nice cos theres people sleeping in cars, in tents and literally on the car park floor and anywhere they can lay down. makes you a bit nervous cos you dont know what you're going to walk into !!! be glad when this surfing thing is over tommorrow.

I've had friends down all week, my god daughter and her boyfriend would get up and go off out each day, they tried to get to Newquay on wednesday, we had a very teasy text from them complaining about traffic :wah: I said to them you should have said where you were going, I would have talked you out of it! :rolleyes:

I can imagine it must be hell, I've been out and about doing all the touristy stuff all week, what a nightmare, now I know why I don't venture too far in August.

hi betty,

i used to live near st austell and until they built that first bit of the A30 by pass, going over to the newquay side of the coast was impossible.

all our deliveries have been late this week and our bins didnt get emptied til 4pm yesterday aand they are usually done by 8am.

didnt ought to complain though, its what pays our wages !!!

I remember how rude 'up country' people can be though, not all of them but a lot, thank god I'm not working in the tourism industry any more :-6

i agree with you about the rudeness, and i have to say, its mostly the men, they can be quite nasty some times, specially if they arnt served straight away :-5

just nipped in to say goodnight and what a night its been !! broke our previous records !!

its pouring with rain now so there might not be so many of em lurking about in the car park tommorrow when i take the dog out.

Helen im off to see the caravan in a couple of hours, the rain woke me up this morning, but its stopped now and is geting brighter. I'm hoping theres going to be a bit sun so i can see wether the caravan is in a good sunny spot. I'm not really botherd how "posh" it is:wah:Just so long as its in god condition, clean and tidy, and in a nice spot, and of course if we like the site too. Plus it means i get out of cooking Sunday lunch too lol.

Yes Neffy dogs seem to sense when we are one degree under and I often say much more faithful than some people we may know of, when I think of this little one we rescued no matter what she may have endured in the past in the three weeks we have had her she is such a faithful little thing and I am sure would put up a fight if anyone tried to do either Tony or me any harm.

Best of luck to you and keep up the good work jj and indy I can see you love your Mum to bits.

This is a soft toy I had given to me when we had to say goodbye to one of our dogs and as you can see Sophie loves him to bits.
