My kids don't go back till Sept. 3rd. Picking up school supplies here and there and picked up 2 protractors/compasses which are always a pain to find. Get them now I thought.

I got my whole classroom supplies already, walked into WalMart the day they first put them out, and it was cheap.

I got 24pk crayola crayons for .25 cents

Oh, that is good. I got the large colored pencils, 12 count, 60 cents. Two glue sticks for 22 cents. Stuff like that, I make up ten pencil boxes of stuff we will use all year.

I used to have to hide that stuff in the car, so my husband wouldnt find out I was buying all the school stuff..............:wah:

Last time I will complain about it. The official schedule and duties came out, I have two subjects to teach. They gave me the worst duty too, afternoon bus duty, knowing I have always done morning so I could go home to take care of my husband. The nurse is there in the morning, not the afternoon, I can't afford her for the whole day. Phooey!:-1

I will stop by on Monday, I do not think I can do anything about it.

But my plan is this-I requested to pick up the curriculum Monday morning. I am taking my husband along with me. (if it is not raining) Maybe his presence there, with his walker, inability to converse, etc will make some kind of impression. But I am doubtful. They never talked to me about it first, just one short e-mail.

The tone was one of finality, like pick up your curriculum and get cracking. Talk to you when school starts. I went to play my flute, much nicer than thinking about school.

I will play the flute, and take my little piccolo, and sit with the band kids when they give me a free period. I will learn to adjust, and keep out of mischief.

Now if I was naughty, I would take my new electric violin, plug it in, and turn up the amp.......:wah: Nah, that is for home, for silent practice at night, very cool. My husband can go to sleep early, and I can still practice. I really like it, have to get in practice for the orchestra this winter, I am hoping to play violin and not keyboards.
