How much of the day do you find yourself on your feet?

I need sleep, went out on the town last night, ended up in a night club until 3 am, and am now at work wishing I was in bed somewhere

nothing

"Nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin'

You gotta have somethin'

If you wanna be with me

Nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin'

You gotta have somethin'

If you wanna be with me

I'm not tryin' to be your hero

'Cause that zero is too cold for me, Brrr

I'm not tryin' to be your highness

'Cause that minus is too low to see, yeah

Nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin'

And I'm not stuffin'

Believe you me

Don't you remember I told ya

I'm a soldier in the war on poverty, yeah

Yes, I am

Nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin'

You gotta have somethin'

If you wanna be with me

Nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin'

You gotta have somethin'

If you wanna be with me

You gotta have somethin'

If you wanna be with me

You gotta bring me somethin' girl

If you wanna be with me"

coffee

How do you like your coffee, that is, if you drink it? I like cream, no sugar, and only in the morning. During a cold evening, I like a cup a decaf. Still cream.............no sugar.

I have no idea what this thread is about .lol lol lol

This is the thread where it is acceptable to go "off-topic" as long as the subject is mentioned in the previous post. In this thread you can make an observation, or a statement, opinion, or state a fact and the next poster will take any word from you post and make his-her own statement, observation or fact. And so on...

ahh I see, always helps to go back to the OP, well I really did derail it didn't I lol lol

Glad

I'm so glad, I'm so glad

I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad

I'm so glad, I'm so glad

I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad

I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do

I'm tired of weeping, I'm tired of moaning, I'm tired of crying for you

I'm so glad, I'm so glad

I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad

I'm so glad, I'm so glad

I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad

I'm tired of weeping, I'm tired of moaning, I'm tired of groaning for you

I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do

I'm so glad, I'm so glad

I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad

I'm so glad, I'm so glad

I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad

(Chorus repeated 5 times)

u know soooo much has changed for me since last christmas. will start with. last christmas i was alone. a widow. this christmas i have been blessed with a wonderful man. who lost his wife shortly after i lost my husband. i feel God knows what he is doing in our lives. If at times we may not feel he is there. he is. i feel so blessed and thankful. but then there is sadness too. the passing of dear Odie. she was a wonderful sweet lady. i miss her sooo m uch. the crazy thing about it. i never met her. we met through this site. but i wish comfort to her family this holiday season. but she is at peace now. that does help, with the pain.

Hello SY and thank you for posting. I just now read it. I am glad you have met someone special. I am lucky to have met my second Hubby...we have been together almost 15 years now.

December 20th was my first sons birthday. He died at four months of age from meningitis. That was 40 years ago, but I still keep him in my heart. I have been blessed with three more children since then, and now, grandchildren.

Odie was a special friend to me here on the Forum. I still think of her and I do miss her. I hope her family is doing well.

So...Christmas time...when we indeed remember the years before with tears and smiles. And when we look at the years ahead with hope.....that there are many more smiles than tears.

Life

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things in nature have a message you understand, Rejoice, for your soul is alive.”
