been raining all afternoon, but still nice out.

Kool & sunny. Cold toward daylight. Fell asleep with the window open last nite. It was great sleeping under a blanket, the fresh air smelling of woodsmoke. Reminded me of my childhood.

74F/23C today with almost 100% humidity. Hurricane Bill is moving along our coast creating rip tides and flooding. We were supposed to have lots of rain and flash floods, but all we've had are grey clouds.



Have to go up to the beach to check on the height of the waves.

Just saw on the news that Hurricane Bill is really doing some damage to Ocean City beaches...erosion. Yup, it rained all day yesterday with more of the same today but not as much. 86F

getting fed up with the heat, even though it was short lived here.

I think we are acclimated to it...born here on the humid east coast...doesn't really bother me unless the humidity is above 60%:-5

we used to have 3 months of non-stop heat and humidity.....god, it was horrid day after day....... now its just here and there.

Has really cooled off here. Currently 58!!!! I am wearing a turtleneck sweater with a fleese jacket over it. If this is a forbearer of what this winter is going to be like, I think I will plan some time in Florida or Arizona!!!!

I'm wearing a sweatshirt at the mo. It's about 70F right now & rainy. going up to 76F

today and this weekend are fall like condition's, highs of 18C and windy.

It's 92.3 F right where I stand with a slight breeze from the northwest at 3 MPH and relative humidity of 24.4, however down the street it is 93.3 F and no breeze with relative humidiy of 26.6. There are cumulus clouds and not the slightest chance of rain. The air quality is fair with a negligle pollen count.

Weather is fine for all outdoor sporting activities but those suffering from canker sores are advised to stay indoors and watch TV.

Whoops!! It's now 5:42 PM, PST and the sun has disappeared behind some clouds and it looks like it will stay there until sunset. The temperature has dropped and the humidity has risen. This increasing humidity is causing rayon and artificial fabric underwear to cling and stick to private parts resulting in chaffing and perspiration. Moderate winds from the Delta should prevail after sunset resulting in a cooling of the entire valley as well as a drop in humidity. It's advisable however, that all living in the valley immediately divest themselves of all under clothing to obtain maximum comfort, in fact, sleeping in the buff this evening is encouraged.

Ten minutes of rain this evening, and the now it is really nice.
