China skinning LIVE cats and dogs

I'm moderately convinced it's the way I smell that spurs them on and gets them fired up, not any waving around on my part. They come looking for me once they cross my path downwind. They aim themselves at where my odours are concentrated. They're especially excited by damp patches, moist areas or dripping bits.

Wasps are often considered "beneficial" to humans because they are the natural predators (or parasites) of pest insects, but they also visit flowers. While they are generally not considered to be important plant pollinators, there are important exceptions, such as fig wasp pollination of figs (cultivated figs in many regions and native wild figs in Western Asia) and scoliid wasp pollination of some Australian orchids

Quite frankly, I have never been one to boycott anything because I have been of the opinion each to their own, but having watched the video, and sat and wept until I was sick, I will be boycotting ALL things Chinese!!!! The chinese government probably condone this kind of treatment !!!

re some of the really crass comment regarding meat eating and the slaughter of animals.

I AM a meat eater, and NO I cant guarantee that all the meat I have eaten has been treated in an acceptable manner at slaughter!

Although I DO buy from reputable sources .......... So accept their declaration!

However that IS POLES apart from the INHUMANE way the dogs in china are treated.. and any one who thinks the disgusting torture of the poor dogs whos LEGS ARE CHOPPED OFF AND THEN SKINNED while ALIVE is acceptable, has no soul !

I would gladly take an axe to the BA"%ARD% who torture those dogs in the video!

Don't forget Canada Oscar, we are in this also. We don't have a large military force right now but it wouldn't take long to get one together.

I personally know of a few people at this point who are refusing to buy any products at all from China. After the showing on TV where , I think it was W5 or Independent Lens, went in undercover and found that China is doing a very large trade in human organs. Apparently if someone needs an organ transplant real quick they can go to China. The doctors in a hospital there were very eager to talk not knowing that their 'clients' were journalists and one had a camera hidden in his belt buckle and the other had a recorder, although no one stated where the recorder was hidden. It seems that the Chinese feel that anyone who goes against what the gov't wants is open game for organ donation. They don't kill the people just remove their organs as needed. It's one thing to remove someones organs at death by accident etc., it's quite another to grab anyone who has done nothing wrong but doesn't like the way things are done.

So it isn't just cats and dogs that are tortured while still alive.

He may have a point though about China wanting to be the next great superpower. We have a real influx here of illegals entering the country, all young men, no women, children or old men. I was talking to a lady from Greece that says the same thing is happening there.

Perhaps we should all be nicer to CSP or we may wake up tomorrow without our liver.

I have 6 dogs, until a couple of months ago I had 8....... and yes , all my own !!! although in the last 4 years have rescued rehabilitated and re homed about 20 dogs here in spain.previously in scotland about 60,some so badly injured ,beaten and malnourished that it is nothing short of a miracle... and a very large vets bill that they are alive today!

as for exploding onto the thread, if you think that was an explosion , hold on to your hats for when I REALLY get passionate about something!!!!

Having been married to a serviceman for 27 years, and a Nanny for 17, then a community carer in the mental health sector , my skin is very thick!

AND ( who says ya cant start a sentence with and ....I just did!!!) I could far more easily pass an injured human being in the street , than an injured animal..

What baffles me is that people can aim xenophobic posts at the Chinese over killing, wearing and eating dogs, while they themselves are surrounded by local abattoirs slaughtering tens of millions of cows, pigs and sheep every year. Dogs are way lower on my agenda than farmed meat, I'd quite happily see all dogs exterminated as pests given the diseased state they leave our local parks in.

I raised meat for the table! goats sheep pigs, chickens and rabbits.

I matched em, I hatched and I despatched em!!.......

I'm Oscar. :-6 I am also a chronic insomniac, married to an ex-service man, have 3 dogs and have taken many rescue's in my life-time. Welcome to our Forum and i'm guessing you stumbled on the thread on the net. If you have a good look round you will see there is a vast assortment of topics to post on. If you go into 'forums' and then 'Introductions', you can start a new thread introducing yourself and tell everyone who you are and you will get alot more members welcome you onto the site.

And i agree with you......... I'd never pass an injured animal in the street.

shame you cant apply yourself a little when you use big words.......... try looking up the dictionary literal translation of the word instead of using it indiscriminately..

I am a BRIT........LIVING IN SPAIN; with ARAB neighbours and an extended adopted family of 4 arab muslim children,,married to a scot! born to parents of irish scottish scandanavian descent (cant get much more "foreign" or different than that).......

And I suggest you blame the owners for the diseased state of the parks not the dogs!, and dont bother telling me that the dogs that crap in the park are strays. very few dogs on the streets of britain were actually born on the streets, they have had owners who either threw them out , or the dogs have escaped!!

Spot.......unlike poor SPC (who did have some foolish notions) I WILL NOT be backed into a hole until I come out biting, or with my tail between my legs in submission!
