Yeah, I see what you mean. Back in the 60s lots of kids were disenchanted so they "tuned out" and "dropped out" for real with drugs. At the time lots of kids felt it was just a matter of time until we all nuked outsives.

A mexican friend of mine once made some sort of home brew with pineapples and I did not believe it would be strong. We took a gallon jug to a drive in movie. I took three large swigs of it and I was out of my gourd. I barely remember my dad leading me into the back door of my house. I could not eat for three days. Maybe poison?

oh crikey yes, then as the day went along... OMG the hang over was one from Hades, I was suffereing on the couch watching TV and a man went to eat an orange and I was so ill I had to run to the bathroom and puke, yep a guy on TV eating an orange did that to me.... I still can NOT face red wine to this day.

This is Long Mynd in Shropshire. Went for a walk here yesterday. I took this pic just before my batteries packed up which is a shame as the views out over Wales were stunning. Watched loads of gliders in action and many para-gliders doing their thing. The strangest thing about the day was that we could see for miles and there was hardly anyone on the ground along the massive landscape. Then just as we sat down for something to eat, two women pushing pushchairs came along and stood 5 feet from us. They never made eye contact or even acknowledged that we were there, but just stood there talking so that we could hear everything. I thought with so many square miles of land to have a chat in, they might have chosen somewhere more private as I couldn't really have given a 5hit how little Tommy was getting on at playgroup. :rolleyes:

Anyway, a nice part of England to visit. :-6

I sure did. Sometimes they were almost motionless and then they'd turn and speed off. I wondered how much one of those chutes would cost.
