On my way to work today a lady was crossing the road, she was burdened with a number of very full shopping bags. Judging by her direction I suspected they were full of clothing and she was heading for the dry cleaners. The route ahead of her was quite a steep up hill climb and I watched as she struggled with 2 -3 bags in each hand. Her gait was wobbly and the slight breeze was blowing her hair across her face, she attempted once to reach up with her full hand to brush it away to no avail, so she just kept on going. She paused for a moment and looked up the hill, from my car of course I could not hear her but I suspected right then she let out a sigh, then forged onward. She got part way up the hill, stopped and stood beside a very robust bush that was heavily flowered. She slowly turned towards the bush and leaned into it to smell the flowers, then carried on her way.

This was the first time ever I saw living proof of... "take time to smell the flowers"

It was very touching.

I injected myself wrong last night somehow and ended up stabbing my middle with the needle and must have hit something I wasn't supposed to because it hurt like a mother! And it's still bruised and very, very painful.

I thought pain killers were supposed to KILL the pain - not make it bloody worse:-5 :-5
