God is spirit and not a physical entity if you so believe.

There are lots of opinions on God. Why male? It was a patriarchal society. Since humans do not have the language to deal with concepts of God they did the best they could at the time. Now God us referred in in both masculine terms and femminen terms. People don't believe in God are exercising their human rights. No problem here though I disagree.

When god was created by man, women had no rights. There wouldn't have been too many people wondering whether god could be feminine.

There are many creative people on this planet. I enjoy creating useful things.

God has no gender , the bible uses "Male" as in a "Father figure", or the head of a family , the top of the pyramid.

Many churches to day are using gender neutral ideas to define God and many also use both Mother and Father. To many folks living in the past.

I'm not sure whether it is destiny. Might have something to do with coming in contact with church, pastors, vicars and the bible. If, what I've learned there, had made sense, I'd probably be a church going christian right now.

Of course it had something to do with all those things, God knew how they would affect you. And he wanted a certain amount of Atheist to exist in this time now. God knew how I would react to Atheism and to churches , Pastors and the bible. My reaction to churches and Pastors, was similar to yours, I reached a point that I could no longer stand it; I had to leave them forever! I can never go back. I'm done. My reaction to the bible was different ; I like it. My reaction to Christianity, I no longer like it.

So basically I have to walk alone.

Meet the author of the Bible 2. After all, God has 'revealed' Himself to him. Time to write God's will in the form of the Newer Testament. After all, is that not how his sort claim the Bible came into existence? By God 'revealing' himself to the writers? Now that God has started to reveal himself further, I see no reason why we don't see the continuance of the Never Ending Story.

Oh you left out a lot of the good stuff;

We see all of humanity being changed into new creatures and living forever; after seeing this , I could careless what an Atheist has to complain about.

You see all of humanity forgiven

You see God himself finally coming to earth

You see peace at last

You see world wide unity

You see a vast increase in knowledge

You see the complete renewal of the earth and the universe itself; stunning.

You see animals still alive in this awesome Kingdom

You see the complete elimination of the concepts of Theism and Atheism ; religion is completely eliminated.

All death and sickness is eliminated

There will be no more lying , killing , stealing , lust , racism, crime , hate; all these things will end.

Increase in knowledge has nothing to do with the Bible. On the contrary. In order for anything it has to increase. The Bible has not changed for thousands of years. It was originally based on misunderstood superstitious misconceptions. It has not changed.

That's a new one on me. Where has the Earth & the Universe been changed? Even if you view it from the Creationist standpoint, it would have come into being. Renewal, by definition, means it has changed. In what way does the Bible say that the Earth & Universe has changed since its Creation?

You see the DESCENDANTS of animals still alive. You see the EVOLVED descendants of animals still alive. We see evidence of the remains of animals which died out millions of years before Man even appeared on the earth. Dinosaurs are not mentioned in the Bible, yet we know that they existed.

Religion is what the Bible is. How can the Bible eliminate itself. Sure, it does continually contradict itself, but that's not quite the same thing.

If something is too good to be true, then it's not true. It is IMPOSSIBLE to believe because it is so contradictory. It states that A is A, then it states that A is not A after all. It expects to have it both ways. From the start it expects us to believe that we are all descended from Adam, Eve & their 3 sons - 2 of which apparently managed to find themselves wives, despite the fact that they were the only ones in existence at the time. The typical apologetic's response is that Eve must have had Daughters as well. So not only are they adding bits & pieces to the absolute unquestionable record that is the Bible in order to cover an obvious flaw in their argument, they are clearly approving of incest.

It feels quite good to be able to look objectively to see how ridiculous something is, and humorous to even consider that someone can even close their mind to such inconsistencies, desperately trying to patch their arguments up with patches they've unsuccessfully tried using previously to patch other arguments. You claim to have your own mind but refuse to even question the inconsistencies. You just believe what you are told to believe. That is not having your own mind. That is having the mind of the person who brainwashed you into believing it in the first place. In order to have your own mind you need to constantly question & analyse things. You don't.

You have made yet another serious error in judging me , I have no teacher , no one is telling me what to believe. I am not in any church or group , I don't listen to any religious teacher or person , I walk alone in my views. You simply don't know me , I just don't fit into your catalogs.

It does not matter to me what you are just saying ; because I know why you are just saying;

few posters enjoy this level of interest ; I enjoy it everywhere I post. And its not bragging , its called sticking it to people who call themselves sticking it to you. I got some long threads in these archives , an impressive trail of interest. And when posters come to my threads with their little complaints and insults , I just like sticking the truth on them. And I got a whole archive of evidence to back me up.

I have an 8 year thread on this board that I stopped posting on this year. I think this also is a statement of how patient this site can be; how tolerant the owners are . In fact I know of no other site as patient ; trust me , I been on hundreds of them. And banned from my share of them.

I had a ten year thread on a site no longer opened. They become a part of your consciousness, your breathing ,you have to exhale every day on it. And your mind keeps growing new fruit to plant there daily. It almost becomes like a child of

yours. That you must nature.
