Ripped off...it is one of my grandaughters 14th birthday next week...she set her heart on a pair of earrings which i have bought today....now they are tiny little rabbits heads with a little stone set in for the eye...i can't tell you how small they are but they are small. They cost £20 but I reckon are worth half that price...why are they so expensive...because they are 'Playboy' merchandise ! I'm happy I have got what she wanted. put p****d that I / she got ripped off....end of rant.!

nope. The fact that i had NO FRIGGIN CLUE that something was wrong with LC, might have something to do with it.

Yes far to early ahahahaha Actually because we are so close to the mountains we can get snow just about anytime in a year. I just do not like winter so am pouting.

It's going to be a long winter if it starts snowing now. It is quite mild here today....we rarely have snow....fingers crossed...

The leaves are only just starting to fall and the sun is still quite hot. We had a partial eclipse of the sun this morning.

Oh we generally have long winters, late september through to mid may most years.

I'm sure I would find that a really long winter, but if you get plenty of sunshine, I guess that would compensate. In the UK, winters tend to be really GREY and dismal. October can be a stormy month...but winter proper starts in November and goes through to March.

I am a flower that thrives in a temperate climate....I would shrivel and die in your hot climate..:yh_sweat ...what's the coolest it gets in your neck of the woods then ACC ?

Not sure yet. I think it freezes some nights.

You dont know what your missing buddy, the fall colors are coming on strong, another week or so and it should be all lit up orange and red here. Beyooootiful !

Our winters can get very very cold but we get blue sunny skies to go with it maybe 70% of the winter, Im getting excited !

Oh my God yes. 1st thing I did when I moved back up was buy some skates, a hockey stick and some pucks. Im looking for a league of smokers with bad backs but no luck so far. Ill be sending some wild pics in a few months. Out on the lake we have fishing tournaments, Ill wake up on a Sat morning and there will be 200 cars and trucks out there. People rent these windsail things its like a small sailboat with skis and a sail...you just flyyy across the lake. Other people have these boards with parachutes attached when they get the wind right they shoot 20' up in the air ! FUN FUN FUN !!! Hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails WHOOOOO !

So you can fly on the ice!

we had cranberry bogs all around which were flooded in winter to protect the plants. they were perfect places to ice skate, i love winter too.

I think weve moved on LC. Were talking about childhood games now. :rolleyes:
