I wanted to but Jim and Sam talked me out of it, with hindsight it was probably the best thing as I don't think I'd of done much talking
We have told Sam that if he goes near that boy he has to hit him, if he doesn't and the boy wallops him, then Jim and I will go round to see the parents, they are supposed to be really rough, always in trouble with the police and the kids constantly fighting :-5
Poor Jnr Minks, truth of it is, even if he tries his best it will probably be too little too late. Kids sum up grown ups far quicker than what we think.
You are being a great Mum encouraging contact and giving pointers to him, but IMO Jnr is old enough to know how she feels and I wouldn't push anything, when will these type of guys realise that our children are not something that they can pick up and put down whenever they feel like it?
That is something that I have always admired about Jim, he has always made a great effort to see all his kids.

Ahhhh Suzy and Mel:-4, So sorry for you troubles. We always worry about our children and want the best for them. Hope both children can resolve these problems. People can be so rotten and mean. I just don't understand that attitude or reasoning:mad:

Thanks KE :-4
SuzyB I heard an interesting commercial on the radio lately and the only thing that stuck in my mind was this quote "9 out of 10" bullies will stop their actions when called out" Basically what it was saying is if anyone stands up to a bully and tells them to stop there is a good chance they will stop, sadly I would guess they would move on to easier prey
I hope your son gets a good shot in.

Well my logic was if i walloped the mother then her Son wouldn't dare touch Sam again, but now i've calmed down I am glad that Jim and Sam told me to drive home

I won't leave it if he touches him again!

Aww Suzy, that pisses me off! I didn't look at this thread till now or I would have commented sooner. I don't know...kids, especially boys tend to be super protective of their moms; if you belted her one, he might take it out more on Sam. And sadly you can't hit the rotten kid because you'd go to jail. When this was happening to me, I took it for years until one day I had had enough and I fought back. It only took one time and they finally left me alone. Do you think Sam might be that way? That when he's had his full, he might set them right? I sure hope so. This is just disgusting and I know if it were my kid being mistreated, I would want to sort them out too. Well, I don't have any suggestions but I wanted to let you know I'm empathizing with Sam. Kids can be the biggest jerks! I see nothing's changed in the 20 some years I've been out of school. Rotten little putzes!

Felt pretty stressed earlier.
I was sitting in the living room feeding the baby and my was was stood in the kitchen with the hose turned on from outside.
So put baby on the floor to play with her toys, went to mop up the water, i come back in and Kayleigh is laying on the baby, so had to shout at her to get off.
GOD...haven't even got time to scratch my arse these days, getting fed up of saying " Don't do that, get away from there, don't push your sister off the couch and stop laying on the baby"
:(

Today, I was agitated. All day. Didn't matter what was going on, I was agitated about everything.
I want to apologise for going a little of the beaten track here. But this post is on topic and I am posing a real "how I feel today" question.
OK, people, i know there are some experts out there. Tell me if I need to see a therapist.
Some days I am so down, that I cry all day and think about suicide. Then, like magic, the next day I will be whistling, singing and happy as a clam. What is wrong with me?
I'm fifty-two and nearly at the end of menopause. I no longer have to worry about birth control.
I have a less then perfect married life.
I'm middle class with two grown children and grandchildren.
I'm a loner.
I work seven days a week.
Somebody tell me please, why I swing from one spectrum of emotion to another in a twenty four hour period. The rest of the time I'm pretty even.

I'm no doctor in the medical or therapeutic sense, but... it sounds like it could be a lot of things... all of which a psychiatrist or medical doctor could certainly help you with. It certainly sounds like a serious issue that needs to be taken seriously, immediately.

I just had a massage for my Birthday - wonderful, but I too am sore.
Then I sat at casino machines for hours - I woke up this morning with a Charlie Horse from hell - ever had one ??
The calf of my leg was like a 2x4, couldn't move - ooouch..
I have another massage scheduled this Friday - it hurt so good.!!
DH
Explain these feelings to your medical Doctor - hormones have a unexpected way of putting a woman all over the map of emotions.. I can cry at commercials...
Good luck

Hey Patsy,
Pinch the heart of your lip (top middle part) and keep pinching until the charlie horse is gone...Works every time for me. If you have a headache, keep pinching the skin between you thumb and forefinger.
Hope this works.

I feel so happy. I am getting paid this week. And I just drove to the new library and got a new library card and saw the downtown area where there are lots of cafes and stores where I can shop.
And! I had a good day at work. And!I get to go to bed early.

Good night all.....just back from "Back to School Night." (for those who don't know what a BTSN is.......it's greeting your classroom parents in Sept. and letting them all about your plans for the year),
This was a very successful night....parents were great and laughed at my jokes. BUT, it is stressful at time trying to get the kidlets organized in September and then planning the BTSN.
Cheers everyone, off to bed with a cosmo:-4
