I went through a phase of losing interest but it has totally picked up again. It is so confusing still though and no explanation forthcoming tee hee but it is an incredible drama. Things in the 3rd season have sort of pointed to it being some sort of purgatory and they are actually all dead but who knows?!

"Open Waters" was a very scary and excellent movie. The 2 actors were actually swimming with the sharks.

Hi Kathy, yes Dieter is getting quite big now, and seems to be settling down. There's a sort of cloister where I used to work and alongside it is a shallow pool full of red and gold koi fish. He spent a whole hour yesterday afternoon just gazing at them, talking to them, and the fish followed us as we walked along the passage. I'll take some more photos.

Glad work is treating you better!! We're just doing our own little winter celebration. Last night I made an almond and orange cake and I'll fix Irish style boiled bacon for supper tonight and then we'll let off our fireworks. Canberra is one of the few places left in Australia where it's still legal to do this. Probably not for much longer.

With Dieter in tow now, there will be less skiing, but I'm hoping for a week in August.

Okie - hope you get the train ride to Fort Worth. Say hi to the place from me please. I'll never forget the Flag Day caper. Still wear the tee shirt. Still have the pic of me riding the mechanical bull at Billy Bob's. Wonder if I can find that????

I went to an air show today at the Airbase here. We took Liam and David. Great time but got very hot. We went thru one of the planes. An AWAC plane with the big rotating radar dome. Ther was an Aussie airman inside talking about the plane.

There are still a few places here around OKC you can shoot fireworks.Not legal in OKC but in Valleybrook and Choctaw and other places.
