Kay, Hi ! Ere just turn em upside down and thrash their bums Mrs !

----------------------------------- As if !! Little tots have days like that Kay, I think they're just testing the water, just to see how far they can go :wah::wah:
When we were kids, one day my mum had lots to do, and she just couldn't be doing with us three bickering with each other, as we were that day. She called us into the hallway, told us to turn our backs to her and bend over (we were 4, 7 and 8). We each got a right good wack on the bum ! Mum said ' Right, you three, that's for nothing --- now watch out !!' We, of course, were little angels for the rest of the day ! :wah:

the discipline in our house was always left to my mum !!
my dad smacked me once for running across the lawn with a knife in my hand, and yes i did the obvious and fell over. purely by chance i was very ill the next day which then turned into pneumonia and he blamed himself for it and never even yelled at me ever again !!

Right Ive got something serious I have to say here and as I dont want it make a thread about it and cause World War 3 Im gonna say it here.
What the hell is wrong with the teachers going on strike today fgs.It was just said on the news that they earn approx £34.000 a year...........also bear in mind the holidays also.Sorry but I know alot of people with even more stressful jobs that would love to earn that sort of money and have those holidays.People know what they are letting themselves in for when they decide to become a teacher so what is there problem fgs.The word greed comes into my mind and as normal the children will have to pay the price. As if they do get an increase that money will have to come from somewhere........some just dont know how well off they are compared to so many others.

Over here they can make up to $90,000.00 plus they get free medical, whereas we have to pay about $5.00 to $15.00 per visit. And then they go on their strikes and it really p.o.'s a lot of working class people because they know if these teachers get their raises and benefits, our property taxes will go up. And in the end, the kids have to make up those lost days usually in June.
My kids on the other hand will never have to worry about strikes as it does not affect the Catholic grade schools:wah:, but it does affect the high school but that strike usually lasts about less than a week, whereas the public school strikes can last up to 2-3 weeks. At least in Pennsylvania it does.

Yes I go to 3 different markets myself. My kids eat alot of cereal and sometimes I buy the damaged ones and you pay alot less. The bag isn't ripped, but the box is sorta of damaged, no matter as the price of cereal is outrageous.
