Though in fairness it has been cold for the last couple of months, so to get a warm day towards the end of April isn't that bad. I just hope for my sake at least, that we don't have any record hot days this summer, because I may end up dying! :wah:

Put both babies into bed tonight and they went straight to sleep, so I got out me scotch and about an hour later Latesha woke up screaming and she woke Shaydens...he was scared to death with the noise she was making...anyhow went into Latesha and she had thrown up everywhere, so had to change everything:( :(anyhow gave her something for her runny nose and put her back to bed but Shayden wouldnt go back down so had to give hime another bottle....typical greedy male....so now fingers crossed they will sleep all night

Ouch that doesn't sound much fun Kaylene, so I feel for you!



I hope they both sleep well all night, and in turn let you get a good night's sleep too! :-6

always got told to put ice pack on it as it stops the blood vessels from expanding and bruising and stops any swelling. have another scotch to numb the pain

Well because I HATE hot weather it really bothers me, and I have to spend as much time as I can sitting by a fan to cool myself down. You can see why I am more of a Winter person!! :wah:

Yes thanks! We normally spend most days out somewhere (usually visiting a nearby city or attraction,) or just chatting amongst ourselves at home. Of course now she has left, everyone is back to the same old routine, well most of us anyway hehe, and again things are once again pretty quiet this afternoon.

i have a dog in the house to but he's a mutt!:wah::wah:

His name is Lucky and he's part beagle and part hound, talk about a wild combination to have as a house dog, most people have little balls of fluff!:wah: but he's my baby he will be 10 in August and he's like part of the family, i call him my other son!:wah::wah:

sadly though he's now sick and i'm afraid won't be with us much longer.

yeah, he's got cancer, so i don't know how long it will be, but i now have to decide am i gonna let it run it's couse or am i gonna have him put to sleep when it looks like he's suffering any. i don't think i could stand seeing him in any pain so i'll probably end it before he gets really bad but OMG what a day that will be how do you go somewhere and watch them kill something you love so much, but i'm gong to go with him and hold him until he takes his last breath so the last thing he sees will be his momma, but i'm sure i'll be crying like a baby.

well, got me washing out and the suns gone in but it shouldnt take long to dry. going to be good tomorrow again by the look of the weather forecast.

will try to get down to the beach with the dog in that case as the tide will be right again.

AW hope im so sorry, its a very hard thing to do i know, but you are putting your own feelings aside to make sure you do the best for your dog in the end. I hope its a long time before the day comes:-4:-4

i had to go with my boss to have her springer spaniel put to sleep, he had prostate cancer. never had to do that before but the vet was so good, it was quiet, dignified and peaceful. he slipped quietly away with both of us giving him a cuddle.

i dont think either of us stopped crying for days but he was no longer in pain or discomfort and is now, no doubt, running and playing and being the comical happy dog he always was.:-4

yeah, that's the way i think about it he will no longer be in any pain, but i've never had to do that before either so it's kinda a scary thought.
