Hi Kaylene. Well it's just gone 10am, so yes somewhat different to my normal time. My internet is still really playing up, so for today at least, I thought I would pop on whilst things are working this morning, before they tend to go later in the day.
Been busy. Had training today, it started at 9.30am till 1pm but both babies were late getting picked up so I was late getting there, which I hate because I am always on time. But otherwise not a bad day:)
I just try and take things slowly in our household. Things get so chaotic in here, that trying to plan anything is just a waste of time, but you get used to it I suppose hahaha. :wah:
Seems strange being so quiet in here I must say, kinda spooky. :-2
Makes sense, I guess a lot of people are either at work or very lazy, and just haven't got out of bed yet hahaha. Still at least this gives me some time to look at the other threads out there, which I don't get to do sometimes. :p
Hello each !! Hi Kay, Hi Chris - nice to see you young man !
Hi Helen, thanks for your wishes for Chris, yes he is feeling more like himself and we are so relieved. For the first time in days, he had a good sleep last night, and that's got to be good, but we've still got to wait for the tests and keeping our fingers crossed !
Hiya Carol, early bird ! The weather is fine here at the moment and I hope it is also, where you are so you get better trade today.
The weather here was fine until about 5 minutes ago, and now it is absolutely pouring, infact it seems like the end of the world! I'm just glad that I'm not stuck out in it!!
Actually Helen, I don't think we will be able to have this break at a later date, the credit terms were not brilliant and there would be an administrative charge of £35 as well. It would also have to be taken outside main holiday times like half term etc, which was a bit restrictive, so Chris's adoptive two sisters Mary and Sue will take this coming weekend by themselves, then possibly be able to book another weekend after the summer and try again. :-3
The night before last at about 12.30 am, Andy and I heard a bit of banging and scraping outside, then the sound of a wheelie bin being moved. Andy went down to the kitchen back door and went out to see what was going on. The woman from the house on our left had pushed the back gate of the garden of the woman (Jane) to our right, and pulled a wheelie bin out of Jane's back garden, along the path and into her own back garden --- ' they've nicked me bin ! Yet they haven't used it, it is empty ! F - - - - ng cheek ! ' mutter mutter mutter, moan. Andy said it was possible the bin men had left the wrong bin outside the wrong house, they're often doing that ! She had a right mouth on her ! She wasn't very quiet about it either, at that time of the night ! Andy tried to calm her down, and still chuntering she went into her house, having locked her gate.
Next day Jane saw Andy and told him her wheelie bin had been nicked !! She said she'd heard noise and voices at gone midnight, but didn't come out to check as she was on her own in the house (usually a daughter or son are in).
Andy explained what had happened and who had done it. ' The cow has bust the hinges of me gate so it won't close very well and I could loose me dog --- how bloody dare she come into my garden like that! Why didn't she knock on the door, or leave it till the daytime ffs !!!
Any way later yesterday afternoon, Jane caught up with this woman and a right argument ensued, with plenty of choice swearwords -- Andy heard the racket, and suspecting what it was about, nipped out the front door to find Jane and this woman squaring up to each other, shouting the odds. Andy noticed that Jane had had a drink, so he took her by the hand and led her away, she was still shouting the odds at this other woman, telling her she could have got a new replacement from the council, all she had to do was ring them up and explain. This woman said it would have cost her £35 for a replacement ! 'Rubbish !' shouts Jane, 'They're f---ing free you cow !' The other woman was shouting and swearing back at Jane.
Andy managed to soothe Jane down as he escorted her to her front door.
Jane said to him ' Well I rang up the council and they're delivering a new one straight away, and they don't know where that woman got her info from about costing her £35 ! Cos they're free !' so Andy laughed, 'Well Jane, she nicked your second had one, and you're getting a new one !'
Jane laughed and gave him a big kiss on his cheek. 'Thanks for pulling me away, I think I was ready to plant her one !'
So peace has broken out at the moment. However we'll watch to see any further instalments :wah::wah: We're right in 'no-man's land' in a war zone at the moment, but Jane can see the funny side of things now. Whether the loud mouth from the other side of us can, I just don't know. We shall see :-3
Fighting over a wheelie bin, for Pete's sake. Sad innit ?

Hi Chris ! Well that rain is probably heading our way, thanks for the warning. Although we are quite a bit further north from you, so we may not get it quite so badly. I hope not, otherwise our little pooch (German Shepherd) will get rather wet on his walk this afternoon !! :-5:-5

Gill, the rain was pretty heavy, but it only lasted about 20 minutes, so if it is heading your way, then just keep an eye out on the clouds, and try not to plan a trip outside if a really dark cloud approaches. Oh and sorry to hear about your story, as you say all that over a bin!!
