Well, it's a breezy Sunny 78 degrees here in the SUNshine state! :-6 We had the rain you must be getting, for the past three days, even although it was still hot.

Ah..Bless you Cars for sharing the forecast! 78º is rather on the cooler side then for FL, compared to what its been. My friend in Fort Myers phoned me this morning but she never said how the weather was. Usually she's beaming to tease me about it.

Our whole State is in a drought watch. With fishing season opening Saturday and all the campers rolling into the back woods to camp, I sure hope they watch their campfires well. Need rain...a good soaker!

Today it was partly sunny, 79 degrees, with a little breeze, a perfect "outdoor" day! So we took our Grandson to a place called "Butterfly World".

And you guessed it, Butterflies all over the place, here, there, & everywhere. On the trees, on the flowers, on the walls, on the netted ceilings, on the sidewalks. Some of them were brave enough to even land on our heads & or hands! They also had a fish pond where we bought fish food for a quarter, & we all fed the fisheees! Another section had beautiful colored birds that sat on our shoulder to take pictures with, & also bought Bird food for 1 dollar, to feed the birds (boy they sure get you don't they) and that's after paying a $20 dollar each admission fee. Our Grandson loved it, & so did we! A great time was had by all!

Wow...that sounded like an awesome day Cars! :-6 And, thanks for the weather report too! *hmmm..I'm gonna have to re-consider cars as my Bro!*;) We had wonderful weather until late afternoon when a fast moving T-storm came threw with high winds. I got soaked from walking in it. :wah: As fast as the storm came...it left and blue, sunny skies it was again!

And since I haven't taken TLW all day...guess what? It's mine for now! :p

Theia!! This morning I spent two hours learning to dance the Highland Fling!!! I do appreciate that my efforts would have most Scots folk sobbing hysterically into their haggis... However, before this Folk Festival workshop, I had no clue about this worthy kneesup. I'd only done Irish dancing. Now, at very least I have learnt to turn my toes out, remove my arms from being glued to my sides and do some neat toe heel stuff. And I learnt that this dance is based on rutting stags. It is a fertility dance, and my finger positions were antlers. Enough to frighten any Sassenach. But I digress the noo ... tlw....

I am not sure I know enough terminology to describe the steps - but it was great. Fairly athletic and tough on the knees, but worth it. I'm used to uillean pipes which go nicely indoors: - having two pipers with the big bagpipes INSIDE was quite an experience! Tomorrow morning the dance workshops include African dance, belly dancing, Finnish and Danish dancing, Chinese dancing and Greek dancing. Oh and some Australian bush dancing. One will be enough for me, but which?!! Last year I did the belly dancing and some French courtly dancing too. And Appalachian clog - that was awesome. Mainly I go to the music concerts, and instrument workshops.

Actually I don't have it any longer, I wish I did! As it got older, it was always breaking down, & soooooo very expensive to repair! And it became very unreliable. But If'n I did still have it, I would've lent to you on Tuesdays & Thursdays for us to share!:)
