we're fine, but i had something strange happen yesterday!

the guy came to check my mom's house for termites, when he was leaving he ran into the ditch trying to get out the driveway. Mom comes running up to my house all upset saying you got to go pull this guy out the ditch.

so i go to get a tractor to pull this guy out and here's the strange part neither of the tractors would crank! now what are the odds of that?

finally i took the truck and pulled him out!:wah::wah:

You're allowed to take them out for lunch...wish we could...we always have to watch our ps and qs....Where did you bring them for lunch...that's so cool.

We took them to one of our local restaurants.One of the kids had never been before so it was exciting for them.It is all part of our life skills program we have in place for our special needs kids.We take them shopping every week & then do our own cooking .These kids need to know the skills.

When I taught in a private school many moons ago, I used to bring my 6th graders(12 yr.0lds) on the subway from Noo Joisey to Rockerfeller Center in New Yok to go ice skating:-6 Geeze, can't even imagine doing that now:wah:


I survived the trip to the dentist,wallet isn't doing to bad either.

I was impressed.

we've been in a drought for about the last 3 years, so when it gets to around July and August it's really hot and really dry! i don't know what i would do without air conditioning:wah:

Hope, don't you get those wicked thunderstorms in July & August? June, July & August are really hot and humid here on the East coast. But I love it!

yes, but where we're at a lot of them seem to miss us we're not far from the mountains and when the storms come across they seem to break up when they hit the mountains.

Most of our storms come right out of Lancaster County which is on the border to Maryland/Delaware, so we always know when the weather dude says afternoon storms, you know you better batten down the hatches, cause they come in really fast.

Hello each ! Just a quick pop in before I have to go out shopping and also get Chris's prescription from Doc's. He slept in the chair down here last night, couldn't face lying down. However he did get a little more sleep and had less frequent stabbing pains. They have been agony for him. He seems a little more cheerful but is still not eating anything, although he is drinking a little more water. We are trying to get an earlier appointment for his hospital tests, as we are not going away at all now. I have now realised that I am not a very good nurse ! I worry too much !!
