hi chris here,carol just gone to get more booze for the party.by the way the pie and mash dish is an old cockney traditional meal and the ingredients are secret and handed down thru "families"you will never find a knife to accompany your fork in a traditional pie ancd eel shop ,you have to use a spoon.the "liquer"is parsley sauce and made with stewed eel juice.lots of vinegar and pepper.it was invented to stave off malnutrition which was rife in east london up until the 1960s!it is bleedin gorgeous!so hands off and i'll leave your leeks alone!
