Crocs were certainly around during the time of the dinosaurs - they've remained virtually unchanged for the past hundred and fifty million years and only half the dinos were bird like, the other half were reptile like.

An update:

If Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) loses a legal battle over his school voucher program, his state's tax dollars may no longer go toward sending students to private institutions to learn that hippies were all a bunch of disheveled, drug-addled, godless philistines.

While the controversial law remains mired in the courts after being ruled unconstitutional last year, however, Louisiana taxpayers will continue to fund a program that sends poor and middle-income students to private institutions with curricula often determined by controversial and inaccurate textbooks.

Privatizing education would be a sad commentary on human intelligence. Remember the Scopes Trial. What a waste of money that was. Trying tot present, evolution as a scientific fact as part of education has to be balanced. Cluttering kids minds with the fallacious garbage that some push as science does nothing for progress. Follow the truth no matter where it takes you.
