Hee heee heeee............ they weren't scared and complained how it ended...........I explained to them that's how the film goes .....but they were not convinced.

they looked at a couple of crows for longer than they should have yesterday .

I said " now do you get it?" :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

Now they want to see 'psycho' , hmmmmmmmm and all the others.

Love it!!!!!!!!:D

We didn't see crows for one whole summer but now they're back again:thinking:...they were invading my trash can this morning..vultures!:wah: My kids have the seen The Birds..they thought it was lame.:wah:

My mom & sister saw it but they are Trekkies. I have no desire to see it. My son Quin is going to see UP this weekend with his friend.

Went and saw Angels & Demons tonight. It was a good flick IMO. All filmed in Rome too. What a beautiful city that is.

Last night I watched "Gloria". 1980. Not too well directed even for then. Reminded me of those horrible Italian westerns.

Really ?

I liked Gloria.

Its dated now but I thought the intensity was alive and Gena ? Rowlands played the role hard.

I watched the "Thin Red Line" via Netflix. What a great war movie, on a par with "Saving Private Ryan" IMHO. I don't know how I could have missed this 1989 movie as I thought I had seen every war movie ever made. Sean Penn and John Cusack starred. It was a true story about the assault on Guadalcanal WW 2. The movie was filmed in the Solomon Islands and the photography was outstanding. The film was nominated for 6 Academy Awards.

I watched that Mummy in China movie last night, and am going to watch Marley tonight. I am so inactive with this silly arm, I'm up to reading 3 books a week again. (but I like that part, and summer is one week away, I can read all I want to!)

Watched "The Reader" last night on a recommendation by Nomad. Good film----------it's a shame that a man's life was so unhappy due to a affair that he had with an older woman when he was a teenager.

Gee and i had named it the Nomad scale!! Well then being an aussie i will have to use the "Jaffa Scale"which is a small candy coated choc ball that would be dropped to the floor and rolled noisily down the aisle at crucial moments of a film to break the tension!

Watched Mirrors earlier tonight on dvd. The opening scene looked promising, but after that, it never really went anywhere. A bit disappointing really, that said, I'd probably give it 6/10.

Yes, although it was more suspense than horror. I prefer half and half really, but there was more of one, and not enough of the other. I'm weird like that. :D

Nobody does horror quite like Sam Raimi, so I'm looking forward to seeing Drag me back to hell. It has very good reviews, from what I've been reading.

Last night I finally watched Harry Potter's "Chambers of Secrets" and Prisoner Of Azkaban" and have ordered all the rest of the series from Netflix. Brilliant, brilliant movies:guitarist

I've also ordered the whole series of "John Adams"

Then I'll watch all of the "Lord of the Rings" Trilogy. I've read almost all of the books that Tolkien has written and have loved them.

That's my summer now until middle August...grilling, chilling and fun with family and friends:-6:p

Beverly Hills Chihuahua... cutesie, but better done than most from this genre... and it has a good message.

Cotton Comes To Harlem

Transformers

Taxi

Twilight... I saw this before, but finally saw it a few nights ago on an HD bigscreen (blue-ray)... and OMG!!!! I couldn't watch it without noticing how poorly the makeup was done on the faces of the vampires... wow!
