I bet if you had someone that talked back with you on subjects you were both interested in you'd do your fair share of listening.I listen too... I do both pretty well... It's just when i'm given the opportunity I will talk... and i won't stop until i've realized that i have been talking forever. If i married a mute i would go crazy... the great thing about talking is that people respond... i can't stand talking to myself... although i have done that a few times... anyway we are way off subject... haha

I have this plan that after i graduate i want to take a jeep and go through the mountains and do nothing but camp and fish and live in the wild for at least two months... but i don't know how to gut a fish.... :(

it's not that i'm squeamish about worms or anything i can pick them up without a problem, it's this over sensitivity i have about hurting anything, i can't bring myself to stick a hook in them! :o and i only fish if it's catch and release, i never keep any of them. :wah: i guess i wouldn't be any fun at all on a fishing trip! :wah:

I also took my eldest out to a pier when he was about the same age with his little friend. I gave them some rods . and let them sit .........then I went off to the fish shop across the road and got two small fish . came back and sat with them for a while and then sent them to the car to get something. I promptly put the fish on their hooks and put them back into the water. Up until four years ago my eldest thought he'd caught his first fish at that time :wah::wah::wah:

omg! my daddy did the same thing for me! :wah: we have a couple of ponds within walking distance of the house here on the farm, we went fishing when i was really little and i was jumping around, smacking my pole in the water, not gonna be catching anything! :wah: then i began to get upset that i wasn't catching a fish, my mother must have taken me somewhere i don't remember, but my daddy put one of the fish that he had caught that day on my hook!

it was years and years later before my momma told me what he did!

You see, I want to be honest up front with the girl I want to marry. I want her to know I do not want her to have to work outside the home. I just have different ideas of what happens when women do that.

What happens if I feel that way and then we get married and then we have arguments because she wants to work outside the home?

I plan on having a second business anyway, so my wife will be helping run the business, but it will be ours together. So in a way she will work, but it will be together.

I don't think a girl who wants to be a world traveler is for me. I'm a stay near home kind of guy.

well as one of those women who doesn't work outside the home let me say that housework is a job in itself but on second thought, since i do work on the farm i guess i have 2 jobs after all.

but let me tell ya, being a housewife may be tough but being a farmwife is on a whole other level! :wah:
