Good morning everyone,

Sorry i missed your hugs last night but im here to collect them now and they are very welcome.

Big hugs back, Malady xxx:-4

All these answers fit me perfectly lol.

I love a bit of romance, candle light dinners etc.

Im easy going to a point, but i wont let people rail road me into their way of thinking like i used too when i was younger.

Being a libran i like balance and harmony at home and the work place, doesnt always work lol but i am a bit of a peacemaker and do like to hear both sides of a story first, and then try and help solve problems if i can.

I used to be very gullible when i was younger but i tend not to take people or things on face value anymore. ( I find im the one who comes off worse if i do that)

I must admit i am flirtatious, sometimes without me realising it, my hubby has pointed this out on many occasions lol, To me it's just being friendly.

I am very indecisive give me a choice of three and i am lost.

I love to change things even if its just putting a plant on a different windowsill, just so that my surroundings dont get boring lol. This drives my hubby mad cos he likes things in the same place forever lol.

I have a difficult time getting my own way in my house, cos my hubby is an airies and my son is a taurus both with very stubbon natures so i have to fight my corner very often lol.

My three daughters are saggitarius and we all get on wonderfully lol. Although they are all the same sign they are different in so many ways, one is career minded, but loves to bake and sew as well, one is happy to be at home with the kids, but cant cook to save her life lol, and the other, well i dispair cos she has wonderlust in her vains, and has always wanted to travel

She is married and settled to a point but i think she will always wonder what if.Her hubby is a stay at home boy and wont venture far.

Sorry i did'nt mean to make this into an essay about me and mine lol.

Hugs all round this morning :-4

you talk about whatever you want to darlin, we're here to listen and we would like very much to get to know you better! :-4

sometimes it can be scary how right on the money these descriptions can be!

but like you said, people can be the same sign and be very different too.

It seems like we've got a trend going here!:wah: We seem to have a lot of Libras and Virgos!:wah:

Here's a hug for you!:yh_hugs

Libra and gemini are supposed to be the ideal partners being the weights and scales, but my first husband was a gemini and we had a very rocky marriage after a while, But that was due to his accessive drinking, gambling, stealing money and womanising, not much to keep a marriage alive there is there

Memorial Day is a day in which we honor the memory of fallen soilders who died in service to our country. We reflect on the sacrifices and service of the American soilder. It's an opportunity to express the special place they have in our hearts.

On this Memorial Day weekend my thoughts are with anyone who had lost a loved one for any reason.

My heart goes out to you!:yh_hugs:-4

Do Not Stand at My Grave

by Mary Elizabeth Frye

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am not there, I do not sleep

I am in a thousand winds that blow

I am the gently falling snow

I am the gentle showers of rain

I am the fields of ripening grain

I am in the morning rush

Of beautiful birds in circling flight

I am the starshine of the night

I am in the flowers that bloom

I am in a quiet room

I am in the birds that sing

I am in each lovely thing

Do not stand at my grave and cry

I am not there, I do not die.

A copy of "Do not stand at my Grave and Weep" was found in an envelope left by a young British soldier, Stephen Cummins, who was killed on active service in Northern Ireland.

The envelope was to be opened by his parents in the event of his death. Along with the poem were photos and a letter. The immediate thought was that the soldier himself had penned it;

this has since been proven wrong. There are many suggestions that have been floated regarding the true author, including Joyce Fossen, Albert Spengler, Gwyndion Perderwen and Mary Frye.

There is also a possibility that it was written originally by Navajo Indians.

It is the "the most requested English language poem of the past sixty years."

I also believe that it is quite possibly the most beautiful.

i have a clause in my last will and testament saying that this must be read at my funeral!

in particular this one!

Angel

by Sarah Mclachian

Spend all your time waiting

For that second chance

For a break that would make it okay

there's always one reason

to not feel good enough

and it's hard at the end of the day

I need some distraction

oh beautiful release

memory seeps from my veins

let it be empty

and weightless and maybe

I'll find some peace tonight.

in the arms of an angel

fly away from here

from the dark cold hotel room

and the endlessness that you fear

you are pulled from the wreckage

of you silent reverie

you're in the arms of the angel

may you find some comfort there

so tired of the straight line

and everywhere you turn

there's vultures and thieves at your back

and the storm keeps on twisting

you keep building the lie

that you make up for all that you lack

it don't make no difference

escaping one last time

it's easier to believe

in this sweet madness

oh this glorious sadness

that brings me to my knees.

in the arms of an angel

fly away from here

from the dark cold hotel room

and the endlessness that you fear

you are pulled from the wreckage

of you silent reverie

you're in the arms of the angel

may you find some comfort there

you're in the arms of the angel

may you find some comfort here

I did this discussion on my group, my friend at work had just come from a funeral of her friend and she said, when i die i want a funeral just like that it was beautiful. So it go me thinking what other people would like.

At my mums funeral my brother requested "Three Times a Lady" be played, it's a beautiful song but for the life of me i still cant listen too it all the way through without crying, so sometimes i dont think its a good idea to play favourite songs at funerals.

When i die i have requested that the theme song from Deep Space Nine be played, strange request i know but it is a theme that will make people smile i hope. Im off to explore places unknown. If you ever get the chance to listen to it, you will know what i mean, it's such a beautiful piece of music, and i lnow if my kids hear it again then they wont be upset and will think there old mum was a little bit crazy and smile lol.

not bigger than me i cry at the drop of a hat!

i have to be careful what kind of movies i even watch if a character that i really like dies in it or if the boy and girl don't get together in the end or something, i'll be wrecked for days.

it's so bad that people know to warn me, they'll say maybe you shouldn't watch that one!:wah:
