Well today went really well, right up until the last game when a player from one team attacked an opposing player (9yr olds!!) the ref told the manager to take him off for the rest of the game, they try not to dish out proper red cards at that age cos if the send them in to the FA the player gets the same punishment as a pro,,, fine and ban etc. Anyway after the game two parents (mams, god they give women a bad name in football:rolleyes:) came to me to complain about the ref. they annoyed me at first cos they both just went hell for leather and i couldnt get a word in, but as they went on and on the things they were saying started to sound more and more ridiculous, until they actually tried to say it was all the refs fault that one of their lads had attacked another!:wah: It got better!! they then went on to say practically all the refs at the venue were crap and every single game they played they never got decisions and it was favourtism,,, i was having a hard time trying not to laugh by now and they eventually left mumbling somthing about takling to a brick wall. :wah:
