The thing I don't understand is why anyone would think for a minute that I would be annoyed by you and Pinky talking. You're two of my mates so I'm glad you post in this and most of the other threads I "contribute" to.

I had a dream last night that Villa were bottom but one and 11 points behind the team just above the bottom 3. In true Dads Army style I kept saying "We're DOOOOMED" One things for certain, we're in freefall and this needs to be arrested.

After considering all the options, I washed up.:D

Hammy is sponsoring OM 10p for every time he manages to insert "Admonishment" into a sentence in an afternoon :D

Oh, I know, we just do get into long chains of threads together and we sometimes go off topic (ahem), thats all, sometimes that annoys people. But of course I am your mate, and fellow Villa-sufferer you brummie man! The last dream I had about Villa, hmmn, I think Ron Saunders was teaching my Geography Class in Bayern shirt, oh the glory days. :wah:

But yes, we are starting to really slide now, he needs to strengthen the squad and kick a few arses out of there to perk the rest up a bit, Checkbook Mr Leaner please. Keep the faith Kram, we have been through this before, at least we have a proper manager this time.

I loved Ron Saunders. Best Villa manager ever in my opinion. He recently came out onto the pitch before the home game against Manchester United and received the acclaim he missed out on courtesy of his unfortunate departure before his moment of European glory. Still looked exactly the same too.

Yeah, he was great wasn't he? I'd love to have seen him, I love watching that match on DVD like all Villa fans, football was so much slower then, easier to see the stratgey, kinda like that. So he looks the same eh? He must be in his late 60s at least, he is of course our greatest modern-era manager, no question. I just hope O'Neill doesn't bottle it, I don't think he will though, he just needs time, and money, and our patience I think, its not an easy job at Villa, there is a lot to fix as you know.

It doesn't help being a club steeped in history, tradition and distant success. The faithfull still expect glory.

Haha, I'm thinking of bundling them up later and letting them go out and play for a little bit. I'm sure they'd love it, it's just I'm not a big fan of getting cold and wet. :o

Don't let the kids loose on Pinky.

She'll have them doing all the things that kids love doing and more besides. Especially with the snow. You may regret it.

(There again, you may just burst out in laughter.):D

UH HUH, sure. I'm a weanus when it comes to cold. Heck they just buy me a half day ticket when we go skiing, cause by lunchtime I'm in the lodge drinking doctored hot chocolates. :D

My son's car is broken down AGAIN (bought a money pit and at a stopping point..that would be NO MORE MONEY!! ARGHHHHH:-5

Today he borrowed my car (only other one we have) to go to work, since it's Sat. and calls me on the way to let me know that while he was driving he dropped something and when he looked up from picking it up, he ran into the side rail on the road...:-5

He didn't stop to look at the damage...it just kinda got scraped I guess...won't know until the morning!! He gets home late tonight...:-5
