Havent read anyfing as havent got time YET as Im not at home and just popped on to see if I can get somefing on Utube for you all to see;)......hope to read everything after and get back to you.........Ive just been entertaining my cousins kids and Im bleedin knackered.......bless there little cotton socks:wah:.....mind you they bought me a HUGE egg........may even take a picture of it to show you later so you can all dribble........its a Cadburys Creme Egg but Ive never seen such a big one...........................EGG I MEAN:rolleyes:..........gawd what are you lot like:wah:;)

Hello to all the foc'ers:-4

Just stopping by for a bit because my tummy feels like this ....yuk...

and I plan to get to sleep early tonight. Hope all are great:-6

Planned on just coming home and getting some rest but decided to take a walk along the beach. WOW, there was a group of dolphins swimming close to the shore feeding. They were in a frenzy hopping up and down in the waves, and then the seagulls and fisherpeople headed towards the beach.....guess what....surf was full of silver fish and then bluefish feeding on them....And...damn, I forgot my camera:mad:

See what I would have missed if I went home early;)

hi kathy,

as gill said that must have been a sight to behold, we get dolphins off our shores too but i've never seen them up close. we get seals in the harbour too and i did get to stroke one once til it hissed at me and shot off down the beach to the water !!

I promise never to leave the house again without my camera. Helen, we also get seals here, but you find them in the quiet areas of the Barnegat Bay. I have the ocean one block east and the bay one block west of me. You can walk along some of the lagoons and see the seals basking on docks. You were very brave to pet one...didn't know they hissed...:wah: Don't ya love living by the sea Helen:D

they can be quite dangerous but he was just sitting there and i had to touch !! he could have removed my hand from the rest of my arm with no trouble so i think he was giving me a warning !!

Wow, the things that we do to be at one with our wildlife...glad he didn't turn around and eat you:wah:

Once in Florida, everyone had decided to drive back to our hotel which was 2 miles away. I decided to walk back along the beach. It was about 1 in the morn. As I was walking along I saw something odd towards the top of the beach. Of course, I had to investigate. It was a beautiful loggerhead turtle laying her eggs. This turtle was huge....maybe almost 4 feet or so. There was no one stirring about in this area...just me and the turtle.....I sat with her until dawn and just chatted away. About dawn, she finally layed all of her eggs and crawled back to sea. It took her forever to push through the sand. I honestly felt so blessed to have had this experience.

You are very lucky Kathy to have had that wonderful experience ! We don't have such a selection of creatures in the UK, but the ones we do have are fascinating.

Thank you Gill. I'll never in my life forget that experience. Imagine, in a town as big as Fort Lauderdale, in the spring, that I was the only one who saw the turtle. Guess everyone else was dancing the night away at the clubs:wah: and here I am sitting very contently with a beautiful turtle.

Hello Everyone!

i hope you are all well!:)

i envy all of you who live near the ocean and can see such beautiful things, i love the ocean and the beach so much! but i don't get to one very often, just on vacation for 2 or 3 days once a year.

there's plenty of wildlife where i live but most of them are a bother. the deer and the rabbits spend their time eating everything in my garden! and there are plenty of skunks, raccoons and foxes but you wouldn't want to run into any of them! And now we have coyotes that have come into the area, they are really causing problems, killing peoples livestock, dogs, cats and even attacking people! and last summer i went into the tobacco field one morning and found bear tracks!

when i was a child i played everywhere on this farm and thought nothing about it

even since i've grown up i would go outside anytime after dark and think nothing about it, but now i'm afraid to let Jacob out of my sight, even when he gets older he's not playing outside alone, it's just to dangerous!

Poor little latesha has caught the cough off shayden but she has a runny nose too, her eyes are all glazey and she is real clingy but she want to kiss me all the time but she does a tongue kiss ha ha and I dont want to come down with her sickness poor little cherub:(

In Tesco they had eggs a lot bigger than that! Have you opened the packaging Carol? You'll see the egg will be sitting on a card frame inside to lift it up, and there will be card frame above it. It's to protect the egg from getting damaged, and also to make out that it is bigger than it really is :wah::wah::p

sorry to hear about Latesha, i hope she will be better soon!

i didn't know babies were like that but Jacob is always wanting to kiss me too!

he's a really affectionate child, luckly he's only been sick once so far and that was an ear infection.

i'm terrible about chocolate it got to the point that i just quit buying it! the only way i can keep from eating it is to just not have any in the house!:wah:
