Hey, did you guys get snow up your way? I sort of envy you guys snow wise. I absolutely love a snowy winter day and all you can are birds and nothing else, well except my kids going koo koo.

Oh yes that coffee sounds good after last night. We were up till about 1am. Our little town was going nuts! Fireworks, horns blaring, beeping. We could even hear the people down the road coming out of the two bars yelping and screaming. That calmed down around 1am, but the Philadelphia itself was just nuts.

Yeh, and she's flying away again for the summer season at the beach where she can do her stupid things and we will have no clue:wah:.

I was talking to Observer1 last night..she was so excited and I think a little buzzed over the new addition plus was watching the game at her local bar. Very funny conversation.

Oh yes, got one the next day.:wah: That was about 10 yrs ago. Last summer, on one of those really hot humid days, our central air died, the oven died and the grill ran oout of propane all within a few hours. Of course right around dinner time.:wah: New oven, propane filled & air fixed all the next day.:wah:

Appliances don't last like they use to. Had to replace Babe's washer only after 5 years. Her old Mayag lasted 18 years and had no problems with it at all.

They don't make them like they used to. Although my Kenmore dryer has lasted longer then my oven, dishwasher, fridge & washing machine. Isn't Maytag a part of Kenmore?

Afternoon all! We all went to the parade with about 99% of the Philly suburbs. Over 2 million people lined the Market & Broad Streets route of the Phils. It was jam packed, wall to wall people decked out in everything from Halloween getups to a sea of red.

The Septa trains were so jammed with people that they blew right through the stops so we took the trolley down to 69th St. and jumped on the El. Wow! People drinking on the El. I think their may have been about 5 kids in Quin's class, 2 in J's & 3 in C's. Looked like a ghost town. We caught the trolley near their school and it was empty, but boy did it fill up as it stopped along the way to pick up more kids, adults, everyone!:wah:
