What do you like about the pressure cooker? I finally bought a crock pot because of all the great cookin Ducky and Chez always do:-6
Yep, that's what the wife tells me when I do the cooking. :wah: :p
It only takes a third of the time to cook in it compared to the oven. Can have a couple slabs of BBQ ribs ready to eat in 30 minutes. Beef and pork is nice and tender too. Make alot of pork loins for pulled pork sandwiches in it. Mine is electric and oval and makes no noise like the old ones that you put on top the stove. We have a slow cooker too, but rarely use since we got this pressure cooker.
Just about time to eat so I've got to go for now.....have a nice evening everyone! :-6

:wah::wah::wah:
Thanks Odie and Chonsi,
I had a new bathfitter put in today in my indoor bathroom. I can't use my bfitter for 24 hours until all things settle.
Soooo, I had to take a shower tonight and wash the hair for work tomorrow. By the time I was organized , it was so dark outside to use my outdoor shower. I have no electricity in the outdoor shower.
I had this outdoor shower built 3 yrs. ago and it's beautiful, but I've never taken a shower in the dark. So, I brought a powerful flashlight so I could see in the dark.
Wow, it was a terrific .....could have stayed there forever....
Call the coast guards off...I'm back in one piece:wah:

Hello Nutters:-6
Geeze, has anyone heard from Chris...hope he's ok,
Odie, I've never heard of putting salt before you grind and cook the coffee beans. So I googled it and sure enough there it was. Just add a little bit to less it less bitter. Think I'll try it tomorrow.

goof grief, another one!:wah:
not in your coffee cup...........when brewing a pot, freshly made, you put a few dots of salt in with the cofee, as it brews, it kills any tart or bitter taste when its a strong coffee.
learnt that trick when Odie was a manager at McDonalds...........their coffee sucked!

No, no Odie....I know that.....I grind my coffee beans and then put it into an electric coffee pot. Directions said to add just a tiny, tiny wee bit to the coffee pot basket before brewing.

I use it even at home with regular brewed coffee, I never buy strong coffee, but it just takes off that bitterness and bite, however some do prefer it that way.

try the salt if brewing an entire pot......you will notice the difference big time, and if you don't, add more next time, makes a world of difference!
I even have a two-cup little perculator, and I still add a pinch.

Thank you Odie...I love my avatar also. I once met a loggerhead turtle in Fort Lauderdale. I stayed with her all night while she layed her eggs and then made her journey back down to the sea. It was a magical experience for me...one I'll never forget....just me and the turtle:-4
Yes, we just use the shower for the summer months and I have to turn off the water soon as the pipes will freeze. It is a beautiful shower...took me 10 yrs. to find someone who could build it right.

I know you're not allowed to hurt/annoy them in New Joosey. I think you will get a fine and they are protected.
