Well, when you are out driving in it, it don't do you no good. The big part has gone over, I am just waiting to hear from my daughter..................

My random thought of the day was:

I hate swivel doors!

If I disapear it's because there's an almighty thunder storm going on.

I'm off under the bed.

Oh. You are out driving in it. I dont do that until I have seen the weather news. Then I know which way to go. Well if I can see the storm I can run the right way.

I had a bad experience with an automatic door. I got to the store very early and got my goods very fast and I didnt know they had not turned the out door on yet. I smashed right into it.

YOu gotta make sure your shoes are tied if you ride an escalator too. They get caught in the teeth when you reach the top. Didnt happen to me but I saw it a few times.

I had such a vivid dream last night. Dont know why. Its been five years since I worked on rail cars but it seemed so real I was walking around under one of those really tall ones that haul autos and I was working alone which was almost never done. And there were a lot of civilians just lolling about and I was afraid I was going to drop the car on them. And some blond woman stole one of my tools and when I went looking for her they crashed some cars outside

I dont have a clue why I would dream about all that so long after. Maybe I need to go visit the place. I can take the guys some donuts and have a cup of coffee with them.

We got a new bedroom set. The mattress is at least 6 inches higher than the old one. This'll take some getting used to.

Oh, I always hate getting a new pillow too.

I sure would take a new mattress, I hate sleeping on the futon the last two years.........

I should think of getting a new mattress for it, snooze. I miss my comfy bed upstairs, especially now that it is getting colder.

anyone have a featherbed? i've been thinking about getting one. i LOVE my big fat down comforter, it cost me a fortune, from germany, but i've had it for years, when i lived in Mass. and it was 30 below zero it kept me warm. i still use it for the cuddle factor.

Wal-mart has a memory foam mattress. I can't remember if it was 5 or 8 inches thick. It was only about $199. You wouldn't need a traditional mattress if you got that.

since bedding is the topic....we have 2 months here where it gets cold. i am not used to it anymore, and shiver like an aspen leaf! so i decided i needed a Scottish 100% wool tartan blanket. well i did get it from a Scottish store online, it's a royal stewart and beautiful!

In the winter I always sleep with a hot rice bag or hot water bottle at my feet. It cuts the chill. I used to prefer an electric blanket. And flannel sheets are a must!

I love an electric blanket to take the chill off my bed before i get into it on a cold winter's night

on a different subject...I am tired and grumpy coz my inconsiderate housemate woke me up at 1am and stayed up talking in the room below my bedroom till nearly 4!!! She has a big mouth as well
