i saw three members of the dave clarke five,at an awards ceremony, on tv, the other day.

names escape me for now but two of them had aged well........... dave clarke on the other hand, fake orange tan, dyed black hair and eye brows, face all puffy and no close up camera shots !!

one very good reason, i believe for growing old with dignity...........:rolleyes:

Met them also:wah:they used to play at The Royal at Tottenham....I had a crush on Mike who died last week........Dave was a dish but I agree his pathetic now.....he really should grow old more gracefully:rolleyes:

Ok hun..................Heres one of my cottage and part of the garden.....it has a few secret gardens in it and backs onto farmland and a golf course....will sort out me vvvvvvvvvpv ones now:)

Ahhh Carol,

Love looking at pics of your garden. I was doing so badly with my garden because of the salt air and poor soil. Tore it all up and put pavers down. Now, I just have a wee spice garden put up on pedestals and they're thriving...the rosemary even survived the winter.

I would have loved to have flown you over the pond to help me organize my salt air garden...too late now:mad:

I've already started doing that and they are just coming right out. The ground never really got that cold this winter, and my daylilies are really popping up. The other day I bought a palm plant. It is huge (6 feet) tall and in my living room, kinda looks cool. Guess I'm going for that summer look, lol.

Show us some pics please:-6 I was thinking about pulling up the weeds between my pavers , yuk...don't even wanna do it.....can't spray with all the rain.

So, I just might hire someone to do it, but no one wants a job that small:mad:

There's a lot of nice grass around you caravan area. Geeze, you wouldn't see that here. The salt air ruins all the grass.

We are lucky Kathy to have such a secluded area.......we got moved last year and I had alot of trouble getting a decent pitch as there doing alot of changes there.Gotta say the dogs love it there:)

Just wondering why the salt air is not destroying your grass.

I love grass but am actually happy now without it. I have bad allergies and the weeding and mowing was just killing me:mad: Feel much better now:-6

I had it all shingled as also got fed up with the work grass brings.I must say though with all the green shrubs etc the shingle actually looks 100% better as it seems to show everything up so much better than green on green.I also have loads of pots out there and a few ponds full of water plants.Its a shame you cant see the other parts of the garden:(
